"Eva!!!!!!!"

Jimin immediately ran toward her and knelt on the floor as the workers rushed in to extinguish the fire. He placed her head gently on his arm and patted her cheeks. "Eva... my love, open your eyes!"

Jungkook and Bella arrived at the scene. Bella's eyes widened in shock as she saw Eva.

Eva slowly opened her eyes — she hadn't completely lost consciousness. Struggling to breathe, she whispered faintly. "J-Jimin…"

Her eyes fluttered shut again as her breathing grew labored. Jimin instantly lifted her into his arms.

"Let me take her to the hospital!" he shouted as he carried her out.

Bella and Jungkook quickly followed behind.

At the hospital.

Eva was being treated inside the room while everyone anxiously waited outside. Jeon soon arrived and rushed toward them.

"How is she?" he asked urgently.

Jimin turned to his father, tears streaming down his face. He immediately hugged him tightly. "Dad!! My Eva! Why did I leave her alone?!"

Jeon patted his back gently. "Jimin, brace yourself, my son."

As they held each other, the doctor stepped out of the room. Jimin rushed forward.

"How is she, doctor?!"

The doctor looked at him calmly. "She fainted due to a lack of oxygen, but don't worry. She's stable now and has regained consciousness. You can meet her."

Without a second thought, Jimin ran inside. Bella started to follow, but Jungkook gently held her hand, stopping her.

"Heaven… let him go in alone. Let's give them some time."

Bella took a deep breath and nodded before sitting down with him on the couch outside.

Inside the room, Jimin slowly opened the door. His heart skipped a beat at the sight of Eva lying in the hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown, an oxygen mask on her face, and a drip attached to her hand.

Tears welled up in his eyes. He walked toward her quietly, his heart pounding. She lay still with her eyes closed. He swallowed hard and whispered, "B-Butterfly…"

Eva's eyes fluttered open the moment she heard his voice. She turned her head weakly.

"Jimin...!"

She immediately tried to remove her oxygen mask, but Jimin rushed forward and gently stopped her.

"Don't take it off." he said softly.

But Eva ignored him, took it off, sat up slowly, and threw her arms around him. He embraced her tightly in return as she began to sob.

"J-Jimin! There was fire everywhere!"

Jimin caressed her back, tears falling silently from his eyes. "I'm so sorry, my love. I shouldn't have left you alone. Please forgive me!"

They slowly pulled away. Jimin held her face gently in his hands. "I promise I'll never leave you alone again. Never! Please forgive me."

He kissed her cheeks, and Eva closed her eyes as fresh tears rolled down.

They stared at each other for a moment before Jimin asked, "How did you get locked in the room?"

Eva hiccupped and replied, "A-aunty… she locked me inside… and then threw a candle into the room. My dress caught… f-fire…"

Jimin's heart clenched. He pulled her into his arms again.

"How could she do that, Jimin?! If… If you hadn't come on time, something terrible would've happened! I could've died—"
