"This night is going to be so special, my wild kitten."
Eva's eyes flew open. She slapped his back and cried, "Yah! Jiminah! Put me down!"
Jimin shook his head with a playful grin. "Nope. You're the one who said, 'Shall we live our moments?' And also, Niall told me something I didn't know that you're a wild kitten. So now, show me what this wild kitten can do."
"Jimin!!" Eva kept patting his back, trying to suppress her laugh, as he carried her effortlessly toward the car. He opened the door and gently placed her in the passenger seat. Then, he leaned in to buckle her seatbelt while Eva narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously.
Jimin smirked. "Wait, my wild kitten. You can attack me all you want once we reach our destination."
Eva immediately turned her face away, blushing, while Jimin chuckled. He slid into the driver's seat, started the engine, and they drove off into the night.
After a few minutes, Jimin stopped the car near Primrose Hill. Eva looked at him, surprised.
"I consider this place to be one of the most beautiful in London," he said with a smile. "Let's sit there and have some ice cream."
Eva's face lit up with a wide smile. They got out and walked over to the grassy hill, sitting down with their ice creams in hand. As they savored the quiet moment, Eva suddenly pointed to the sky.
"Jimin, look! Fireworks!"
Jimin looked up, eyes widening as colorful explosions filled the sky. He turned to Eva, watching her gaze upward with pure wonder and joy lighting up her face.
"Let's lie down and enjoy this beautiful scene, butterfly." he said softly.
They both lay on the grass, Eva watching the sky and Jimin watching her.
"This is so beautiful, Jimin!" she whispered. But when she turned to look at him, she found his eyes already on her.
Eva smiled and turned her body to face him. Jimin mirrored her, both of them resting on their elbows, heads propped on their hands as they stared into each other's eyes with quiet affection while fireworks crackled in the background.
After a few silent seconds, Eva asked gently, "What are you watching?"
Jimin smiled. "Watching my beautiful future."
Her heart skipped a beat. She smiled softly. "And when are you going to make your future your present?"
Jimin leaned back slightly, resting his hand under his head.
"You know why I never asked you when you wanted to get married?" he said, eyes still on hers. "Because I didn't want to pressure you right after the proposal. You have your own life and so many other things to handle — that's why I didn't ask, so you wouldn't feel any pressure."
He gently tucked her hair behind her ear. "I could wait a lifetime for you. But I never want you to feel forced. I love and respect your life, Eva."
Eva's eyes glistened with emotion as she listened. Then she smiled and whispered,
"And what if I say… I want to end your wait now?"
Jimin's heart stopped. He sat up abruptly, standing to his feet, saying, "Say it clearly what you wanna say. Because I swear, I'll pretend to be the dumbest man alive just to hear it from your mouth."
Eva laughed at his reaction and got up too. Then, rising on her toes, she leaned close and whispered in his ear, "Let's get married, my love."
She gasped when Jimin instantly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into him. Eva placed her hands on his shoulders as they gazed at one another.
