"And here I melt again.."
Jimin smiled to himself, watching her with a soft, lost expression. But before he could fall deeper into his trance, Eva's eyes suddenly met his. Her face lit up in surprise and excitement.
"Jiminahh!" she exclaimed, beaming.
Jimin grinned and opened his arms wide. Eva giggled and ran to him, wrapping her arms around him in a warm hug.
"Aww, Jimin! I missed you so much!"
As they pulled apart, he gently tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"I thought you were punishing me — avoiding me until the wedding," he teased.
Eva glanced at his collar and fixed it while speaking softly, "I don't follow anything that brings discomfort to life." Then looking up into his eyes, she added, "Not seeing you for just two days because of work already made me feel uneasy. So how could I possibly go a whole week without you, hmm?"
Jimin smiled tenderly at her words.
At that moment, Eva's manager approached. "Miss Eva, would you like to continue the shoot now or postpone it to tomorrow?"
Before Eva could answer, Jimin spoke up, "Complete your shoot, my love. Then we'll go for dinner together."
Eva nodded with a soft smile and walked back to the set. Jimin stood nearby, watching her with admiration as she focused on the camera, her aura radiant and calm.
Afterwards, they both headed out for dinner. As they enjoyed their meal, Jimin asked, "You still haven't bought your wedding dress, right?"
Eva nodded. "Bella texted me today. She's coming to pick me up tomorrow for dress shopping."
Jimin paused mid-bite. "Why is she taking you? Huh! I should be the one going with you!"
Eva bit her lower lip, trying not to laugh. She wiped her mouth gently with a tissue and replied, "Bella doesn't want you to see my wedding dress before the big day…"
Jimin scoffed in disbelief. "Yah! She went to buy her own dress with Jungkook, and now she's making weird rules for my wedding!"
Eva chuckled and lifted her eyebrows playfully. "I want you to see me in that dress for the first time on our wedding day too, my love."
Jimin pouted and puffed his cheeks. "If you keep saying things like that, using your sweetness, how can I say no? Fine. I'll wait… just because you want it too."
Eva smiled brightly, and they resumed eating. A few moments later, Jimin added, "The invitation cards are ready." He looked at her thoughtfully. "Your aunty lives in Seoul, right?"
Eva nodded. "She's my mom's younger sister — Sophia aunty."
Jimin smiled. "Let's go together tomorrow and deliver her invitation card, okay?"
Her smile deepened, touched by his thoughtfulness, and she nodded. They finished their dinner in a comfortable, loving silence.
Later, Jimin dropped Eva off at her home and returned to his place. Meanwhile, Eva sat in her room and made a call to Niall. After a few rings, he picked up.
"Hey Eva! How are you, girl?"
"I'm good. You tell me — is everything alright over there?"
"Yeah, everything's fine. Don't worry. Now that Dad's here, he gave Mom a proper lecture — and you know she doesn't dare cross him after that."
"I didn't want Uncle to scold her… but what she did was wrong, Niall."
"I know, Eva. What Mom did was unacceptable. But don't worry — she won't repeat it again. You tell, when's your wedding?"
