"Sad."
Taehyung shook his head dramatically, then grabbed his phone again.
Meanwhile, Bella and Jungkook quietly finished their meal. As usual, Jungkook remained silent throughout — his habit of eating without engaging in conversation never changed, and Bella had grown used to the stillness between them.
Once done, they left for Bella's house. The drive was quiet, filled only with the soft hum of the car and the unspoken tension lingering in the air. When they reached, Jungkook pulled into the yard and parked. Bella opened the door and stepped out, her hand on the edge, ready to close it — when his voice stopped her.
"Make sure to look as beautiful as always on our wedding day… Princess Bella."
She froze for a moment, then slowly turned her gaze toward him. Their eyes met — his were calm, unreadable, hers flickered with restrained emotion. But she said nothing. Instead, she closed her eyes briefly, breaking the moment, and quietly shut the car door before walking away.
Jungkook chuckled under his breath and drove off into the night.
Upstairs, Bella entered her room and sank onto the bed, leaning back with her arms supporting her weight. She tilted her head upward and exhaled deeply, her thoughts racing. Jungkook's words echoed in her mind,
"I think I fell for you."
She suddenly sat upright, eyes sharp with disbelief.
"I don't believe it. I don't believe you, Jeon…"
Muttering under her breath, she shook her head, took another deep breath, and walked off to change — trying to shake the feeling that his words had left behind.

Two days later – The Wedding Day
Bella sat in her room, a soft hush filling the space as the makeup artist carefully finished her hair. The scent of fresh roses lingered from the bouquet resting on her vanity. Her fingers fidgeted restlessly in her lap until she picked up her phone and called Eva.
"Yah, babe! Do you want me to murder you? You're still not here!"
"Bella, my dear, hold on — I'm stuck in traffic, love."
"I don't care! I want you here, right now!"
"I'm coming, I swear. Just wait a little longer, my sister."
"Hurry up… I'm waiting."
"Okay, okay! I'll be there soon."
She hung up, placing her phone back on the table with a soft thud. Her heart thudded louder with every passing second. Almost ready, the beautician gave the final touches to her hairstyle. Then came a gentle knock on the door. Through the mirror's reflection, Bella saw the door creak open — her gaze locking with a pair of familiar eyes.
It was Jimin.
Her face immediately brightened. She turned to the makeup artist, subtly gesturing for privacy. The woman smiled, nodded silently, and exited the room.
Bella's POV
I stood up slowly, turning to face him. Jimin stood there, just inside the door, looking at me as if he was trying to memorize the moment forever. There was something in his eyes — softness, pride… and a flicker of sorrow.
I took a few steps toward him, until we were face to face. His gaze dropped slightly, tears glistening at the corners of his eyes.
He lifted a hand and gently cupped my face. "Indeed, my sister looks like a real princess," he whispered.
