"So my queen, meet your twin step brother.. KIM TAEHYUNG...."

For a moment, Bella's entire world seemed to blur. Her ears rang, her breath caught in her throat.

Her knees gave way slightly, and she stumbled, but Taehyung immediately grabbed her arm.

"Hey, my beautiful sister…" he murmured, steadying her with a slight smirk tugging at his lips. "Come back to your senses."

Bella jerked her arm away. "Don't touch me!!"

He sighed softly, unbothered. That smirk never left. "You should feel sad instead of being angry. Like how I feel bad that our parents took me away from a sister who turned out to be hella beautiful…"

Her fists clenched. Her breathing turned shallow and fast. "I don't believe you. Tell me who you really are, and what the hell do you want?!"

"Hey, hey… my queen, calm down," he said teasingly, stepping closer.

She stepped back, but he stepped forward. She took another step back, but he kept walking.

"I said stay away from me!" she shouted, raising her hands to push him away, but he was quicker. He grabbed her wrists in one swift motion, pulling her to him. The space between them disappeared. They both looked at each other then Taehyung said, "This anger doesn't suit on this beauty, my queen."

"Leave my hands!!" she shouted, struggling in his grip. But he didn't let go.

On the other hand, Jungkook had reached the Kim house. He parked his car and walked inside. As he neared the main entrance, he stopped in his tracks when he saw a boy holding Bella, while she screamed and struggled to push him away.

His eyes widened in shock. Without wasting a second, he rushed toward them. Jungkook grabbed him by the shoulders, yanked him away from Bella and landed a solid punch straight on his face. Taehyung fell to the floor with a thud.

Bella gasped, standing there, panting heavily. Jungkook stepped protectively in front of her and shouted, "How dare you touch her like this…!!! How dare you?!"

Taehyung wiped the blood from his nose with the back of his palm. His nostrils flared as rage simmered in his eyes. He looked up at both of them, breathing heavily, and scoffed, "Ahhn… I see. So my sister has lovers too…"

Jungkook's brows furrowed. Sister?

Before he could speak, a voice echoed from inside the house. Lina had stepped out of her room after hearing the commotion. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw Taehyung sitting on the floor, blood dripping from his nose.

"Mom!!!" Taehyung shouted when he saw her. Lina immediately ran toward him and dropped to the floor beside him. "Oh my son! What happened to you, Taehyung?!"

Bella's heart skipped a beat.

She… called him her son?!

Her mind went blank. Everything around her felt frozen. Then Taehyung muttered bitterly, "This is how you welcomed me, huh?"

Lina looked up at Jungkook and Bella with fire in her eyes. "How dare you touch my son, huh?!"

Jungkook stood firm in front of Bella, fury radiating off him. And said sharply, "This is what will happen to anyone who dares to lay their filthy hands on her…!!"

Bella's heart skipped another beat. She was still trying to process everything, her thoughts spinning.

Lina helped Taehyung to his feet and shot Jungkook a death glare. Without another word, she supported Taehyung and led him to her room, leaving Jungkook and Bella standing in the storm of shock.
