"Gosh-darn!! Just kill me with one go, wild kitten! But don't give me a heartthrob encounter like this again.... Or I might die — for sure!"

Jimin's breath hitched as he watched Eva make her entrance.

On stage, Eva paused gracefully as her manager stepped forward, placing the microphone gently in her hand. The crowd silenced as she smiled, her eyes scanning the audience.

"I extend my warmest greetings to our distinguished guests," she began with elegance, her voice calm yet vibrant. "Thank you to each and every one of you for being here with us today… A special thanks to the Chief Guest of the day, Miss Ariel — a superb, magnificent designer from Paris."

Jimin sat upright, posture rigid yet admiring, his affectionate smile never leaving his face as her words flowed like silk.

Eva took a soft breath, her chest rising gently before she continued, "I'm so grateful to my company, designers, and staff members. Thank you for your hard work on this… I couldn't have done it without you."

Then her voice softened, her gaze aiming straight into the camera, but her words piercing directly into Jimin's soul.

"And my warmest thanks to my special person, my beloved fiancé, Park Jimin."

Jimin's heart skipped a beat. His back stiffened as he sat straighter, his eyes wide.

Eva's lips curled into a tender smile as she added, "Your support means the world to me… Without it, I couldn't have achieved anything, Jimin."

He tilted his head slightly, eyes softening with every second. The way she spoke his name melted him from within. And when her speech ended, the room erupted in applause, yet Jimin remained still for a moment — spellbound.

Backstage, the mood was electric. Company staff rushed over, excited voices overlapping as they congratulated Eva.

Her eyes sparkled, overwhelmed by the affection and compliments. She nodded graciously, laughing softly. Then she excused herself and slipped into the changing room.

A few minutes later, Eva stepped out, now in a more comfortable outfit, when her phone vibrated. Her smile brightened even more seeing the caller ID.

She quickly picked up, pressing the phone to her ear.

[On the call]

"Congratulations, my love."

"Thank you so much, Jimin!"

"You killed me with your unexpected walk, huh!"

"Haha! I wanted to surprise you — that's why I didn't tell you about it!"

"I named you perfectly! Wild kitten! Attacking my heart again and again, huh?!"

"Ahn, already losing your nerves hmm?"

"Someone is playing with fire… Beware, my love, because the rowdy tom inside me can be awakened by your attacks… and then, it could turn potentially dangerous for you."

"Yahh Jiminahh! I just can't win the battle of this flirty talk — I just can't with you!"

"Now you can't run away, my love… Just two more days, and boom — I'll cage you in my arms forever."

"I'm not running, my love… and will never be. I'm desperately waiting for those beautiful moments I'm going to spend with you till my last breath."
