"I wish you knew how much I love you, Bella…"

He took a deep breath, a tear fell from his eyes but he immediately wiped it then, got up from his seat and went to his room.

Bella's POV

I stepped out of Eunwoo's house with a heavy heart, trying to steady my breath as I slid into the driver's seat. My hands gripped the steering wheel for a moment before I started the engine and drove straight to Jimin's house.

When I arrived, I parked and walked inside without hesitation. As I entered the lounge, I saw Jimin descending the staircase, his coat draped over his arm—clearly on his way to the office.

The moment his eyes landed on me, his brows furrowed.
"Princess?"

Without a word, I rushed toward him and threw my arms around his chest, unable to hold back the flood of tears any longer.

Jimin's heart skipped a beat at the sight of me breaking down. He gently patted my back, voice laced with concern.
"Why are you crying, Princess?"

But I couldn't answer. The words got stuck behind the sobs.

"You're making me worried!" he added, pulling back slightly to look at me.

He took my arm and led me to the couch. We both sat down as he took my hand gently in his.
"What happened, Princess?"

I closed my eyes and took a long, shaky breath before opening them to meet his gaze.
"Something happened, Jimin… something I never imagined could happen."

His expression shifted to confusion. "What do you mean?"

I hesitated, then said the words that had been tormenting me. "Appa… he has another child... From his second marriage."

Jimin's eyes widened in disbelief. "What?!"

Tears welled up in my eyes again as I continued, my voice trembling. "He showed up yesterday… Jimin, how could Appa do this? He hid this from me!"

Jimin was stunned, trying to process the shock. "This is… unexpected. Uncle has another child? But why would he hide him from us?"

I broke down again, burying my face in Jimin's chest. He held me tightly, running his hand softly through my hair.
"Princess, please don't cry like this. You're my brave sister, aren't you? Then why are you crying now?"

He gently pulled away and cupped my face in his hands, making me look at him. He wiped away my tears.
"Look, Princess… I know this is hard to accept, and it feels unfair. But what's done is done. We can't change the past. You need to stay strong. Nothing has to change for you. Keep living your life the way you always have, alright?"

His words slowly sank in. I sat there, breathing deeply, finally beginning to understand.

Why was I the only one suffering?

Appa wasn't affected. My stepmother and her son acted like nothing had happened. Then why was I tearing myself apart?

I exhaled sharply and nodded. "You're right, Jimin. I shouldn't make myself suffer."

He smiled warmly. "This truth was buried long ago… it was bound to come out someday. Now that it has, nothing more can be done. So stop hurting yourself. Live your life happily."

He patted my cheek gently. I smiled, feeling a bit lighter. My eyes drifted to his coat. "You were going to the office?"

"Yeah, I was," he replied, "but now I'm not. My princess needs me. I won't leave her alone."
