the next morning the girls were off to their course again and i hugged them goodbye.

billie and i were heading to the beach today i think. or a lake somewhere i wasn't too sure. she just said bring swimmers.

it was 10 am when billie rolled out of bed. she came through from my room her hair a mess her shirt hung off her loosley.

she was singing solo by frank ocean softly, the sound echoing in my apartment. she always raved about the acoustics.

she continued singing walking all the way over to me and wrapping her arms over my neck.
"its hell on earth and the city's on fire, inhale in hell it's heaven-" she sung till the end of the song.

she kissed my lips pulling back slowly. "good morning amor" she flashed her perfect smile. everything about her is perfect.

"good morning beautiful" i picked her up and she laughed as i spun her around. "you gonna tell me the plans for today?"

"do i ever" she scrunched her nose up and smiled. i tilted my head and her and she smiled tapping my nose. "come on mars, breakfast time then we leave"

"oh i've-" "breakfast time then we leave" she emphasised. she made me normal pancakes because as much as i love her and vegan food tastes fine i can't like vegan pancakes.

"why is there like no food in here, you got the bare minimum basics bro" she said looking through my cupboard.

"i've been busy with work, i didn't have the time or energy to get groceries" i shrugged thanking her once she passed them to me.

i knew she had more questions but i connected my phone to play some music. "well go tonight then" she said sitting beside me.

with her hand on my thigh we ate our food talking about whatever. soon we finished and i cleaned the kitchen as she gathered everything we would need.

"is your speaker charged?" she asked as she found it on a shelf. i shrugged unsure and she grabbed it anyway.

we went down to my car and put all the stuff in. she put the location in maps as i drove.

It was a warm day which I was grateful for, she played some music but was skipping the songs half way through. "do you ever listen to a whole song?" I questioned her and she laughed. After a bit we pulled up to a marina. "where are you taking me miss eilish?"

"stop asking so many questions" she smiled "one day im going to follow you blindly and your actually going to lead me to my death" I shook my head as we got our stuff.

Walking up the dock there was a sailing boat at the end of it. some guy was there along with a couple other people around our age. "hi you must be marley and billie, your our last guests come aboard" the guy greeted us holding our hands to lead us over the railing.

We put our stuff downstairs before taking a seat in the cockpit. There was 2 Australian influencers, sisters I think. Then some other semi famous people. For whatever they did.

The guys son who had to be about 9 then took the ropes off the dock and jumped aboard. We motored out of the marina before they put the sails up. I didn't think we would be help but he got us to pull the ropes while the kid steered the boat, and he directed the sail up. They were saying a lot of words I didn't recognize but we managed to comunicate.

Once the sails were up we were all talking it was amazing. Billie held my hand the entire time, i knew she hated the ocean and I admired her as she looked out the side of the boat. "oh my god look!" she suddenly said hitting my shoulder making me turn around to see a pod of dolphins following our boat.

After I don't know how long we made it to Catalina island, (I did my research for this)

That's when all the gear was brought out and I realised we were going snorkelling. Apparently there was really good marine life here. Once we put all the gear on in the boat and we were told safety and instructions.

"so we will snorkel for a while then go to the island for a later lunch" the guide said and we all got changed and sorted.

Within 20 minutes we were all in the warm water. "I forgot how afraid of the water I was" billie said as one side of the shore just dropped off into a deep hole. she held onto me tightly.

"youll be okay" I smiled holding her hand. we followed the others looking at everything. Billie was scared I could tell but I could also tell she was loving the sea life.

We must've seen thousands of fish and all sorts of other animals before we ended up in the shallows. There we took off our gear and laid it by the rocks to get rinsed with fresh water. We followed the others into this cute beach restaurant.

Everyone was talking about what they saw and I felt genuinely happy. Billie slipped her hand into mine again as we put in our lunch orders. It all came free with whatever package billie got.

"yeah the ocean really freaks me out but this was so cool" billie shared as everyone had their turns. We see the kid walk in holding two scuba tanks and handing them to the guy in the shop presumably to be filled.

"coolest 9 year old ever" I heard one of them say.

"you like your surprise?" billie asked me shyly.

"I love it bil, it wasn't what I was expecting but it was so fun"

"you needed some fun in your life" she teased and i wanted to kiss her. "im going to go to the toilet real quick. Could you come with me?" she asked and I nodded letting her drag me there.
