there for me

days

i hate this chapter but i haven't posted in ages and this is what i had.

marley's pov
i dropped billie home before going to the gym i haven't been feeling the best lately and i feel like a good long gym session will fix it.

"good morning marley, did you ever hand in that doctors form?" cathy one of the receptionists questioned.

"yeah?" no "i handed it to that new girl the other week" i haven't even gone yet.

"oh okay, we must have miss placed it" she buzzed me in and i slip my headphones on.

i started with a walk then up to a run. for 5 kilometres. only a warm up.
then i went to do arms and back, then legs and glutes, core and so on.

i did everything. absolutely destroyed my body. but i felt amazing. i'm sure i would regret it tomorrow.

when i finally finished and felt like i had done everything i needed i went to the change rooms. i felt like i had blacked out. my vision fuzzed for a second and my head felt all heavy but i didn't fall over. the steamy shower was forgotten as i rested my head in my hands.

i turned it off quickly and changed the water to freezing. washing my body i wrap a towel around me. now i'm just incredibly tired.

i head down to my car and finally look at my phone. i had several missed calls and texts from billie, some from finneas, the girls and even a text from phoebe. plus other random notifications.

i called billie back instantly.

"hey-" "it's been hours i thought something happened"

"i just went to the gym and completely zoned out. i'm so sorry"
"marley for 5 hours, baby we talked about this, go eat right now, that's too much exercise in one go"

"billie im okay, i don't feel like it" i said starting to drive home.

"mars" i knew her tone all too well.
"don't do that to me, don't give me that tone bil, i'm handling it"

"come over baby, i'll make you some food"
"i have errands to run but ill come over before work"

"marely jayne oliver" "dont full name me pirate" i tried to distract her.  she didn't respond so i sighed.

"ill be there in 15 minutes"
"good-"

when i pulled into her driveway she met me by the door. i sat in my car staring ahead. she walked down and opened my door.

"come on, your foods almost done" she held my hand bringing me inside her home. she stood over the stove and i stood behind her resting my head on her shoulder.

"i have my evaluation tomorrow, thats why i spent so long there" i answered the question i knew she had. "if i dont pass i cant be a bodyguard or anything, ill loose my job at the bar, i cant work for you so i. i just need to pass"

"okay would it be so bad if you had a way to get out of that job" billie said plating the food.

"yes because then ill be jobless, this is what ive always done this is what i should be doing" she just stared at me like she didnt belive its what i wanted.

i sat on her couch with my feet underneath me holding the warm bowl of pasta in my lap. "you forget your eyes speak a thousand words my love" she kissed my jaw so softly there was no other intentions in the action.

i rested my head back against her and she put on perks of being a wallflower, she knew it was one of my favourites.

her hand was around the side of my neck her thumb running over the back of my head. and leant down to kiss my cheek.

i set my bowl down when billie's front door opened. "sup gay pirate" it was finneas busting in and bounding with energy.

"oh hey marley" he was doing the brotherly beat up to the both of us. air boxing, throwing pillows.

"what do you want, and where's my warning that your coming here" billie said getting pissed.

"i want you to do some vocals for a song on my album"
"your making another album?" i asked him and he nodded.

"you couldn't have asked over the phone" she groaned.

"why are you in such a bad mood, you guys didnt break up right?"

"no you idiot we didnt, your not welcome to stay so ill see you tonight when i drop mars to work"

"okay, i was on my way to claudia's anyway" he left after that.
i thought the whole interaction was odd but bil rolled her eyes unamused.

after he left billie sighed staring down at me. i looked at her tiredly. "come on, you need some life in you before you go to work" she stood up and lifted me off the couch.

"billie PUT ME DOWN" she was running through the house and i was on her back.
she struggled with the door for a second before running to her backyard. "STO-" i was cut off when she jumped into the pool. we resurfaced and i stared down at her.

"what was that for eilish" i said wrapping my legs around her waist. towering over her.

"your the one dating me. you should be used to it" she smiled. i rolled my eyes peeling my shirt off my head as i was hating the way it clung to my body. 

my tounge slipped into her mouth and she smirked into the kiss.

"come on, you need your rest, we can continue this later" billie pulled away and rested our foreheads together.
