billie's pov "but yeah, i'm back in the gym, a different one through. i'm fixing the relationship with my mother, to an extent atleast. and im feeling more comfortable in my own skin"
marley and i were sat on her balcony having a glass of wine. "im very proud of you marley" i said and she smiled resting her head against the railing and looking at me. "what have you been up to" she asked swinging her legs of the side.
"well making music, hanging out with friends, filming another documentary" i smiled looking away. "billie shut up! that's so cool!" "yeah, i'm getting it all together but i have to figure out all the legal things and get permission from everyone to be in it"
"am i in it?" she asked hesitation in her tone. i nodded slowly. "yeah, i can take you out if you want. it is about the album though so lunch and wildflower. it didn't matter, ill just say a special someone inspired me to write them"
"no billie it's okay, i was just wondering. i gotta get my 5 minutes of fame too" she smiled. "i really missed you" she said again and i stayed quiet. i didn't feel i had to talk on it again.
it started raining and we sat for a while but eventually i pulled her inside. i don't want her getting sick. we got changed into dry clothes. she still has some of mine.
then we sat on the couch to continue talking. i don't even know what time it was. "is this hot? i want to post it but im genuinely scared to"

"i'm sorry im keeping you up" "mars you know i don't sleep" i put my arm up on the back of the couch leaning my head against my hand.
we talked until the sun came up and even then we were still talking. alyssa came out to go to her 5:45am pilates class and told us to go to bed.
"you can sleep in my bed if you want" "are you sure?" she nodded and we went to her room. closing the blinds, turning on the diffuser and fan we both climb into her bed. she fell asleep quickly and it took me a second but i was able to fall asleep pretty soon after.
i woke up at 4pm, marley wasn't in bed and when i stumbled out of her room i found out she was at work.
"so" i started. "so" willow continued.
i drove to marley's work not to be creepy, i did want a smoothie. "did you just wake up?" the girl asked once i went to the counter.
"yeah when did you wake up?" "12, what can i get for you" "wildberry smoothie please" "vegan?" i nodded with a smile and went and sat down on our beanbag. the one we always sat at.
she brought me my smoothie and a sandwich when i thanked her for. when i was finished i brought my glass and plate to her cleaning my table.
"i'll see you around?" i said hopefully. "i'll be in touch, genuinely this time" i smiled and said goodbye. when i got in the car i called my brother.
"fin fin fin, she doesn't hate me" "who?" "marley!" "oh i love that for you guys" "yeah, we're just hanging out, she's still in recovery" "odessa isn't happy you ghosted her" "odessa is a good friend, that's all" "i think you should tell her that" "yeahhhhhh" i clicked my tongue "i'll get to it"
i went to my place and shark was very excited to see me. "hi buddy!" it was about his dinner time so i started making it up.
an hour or so later i had just had a shower and was on my couch watching the office when my phone started ringing.
"hey mars" i was surprised she was calling me. "hey billie" she smiled before her attention fell from me completely and she was saying hello to shark. he definitely missed her.
"he misses you" i said and she smiled. "i'm going to be so honest with you, when you stopped coming around he took one of your hoodies and kept it in his bed and would growl at me if i tried to take it"
"oh my god ill cry" she gave me a sad smile and i told her she'd just have to see him again.
"i have tomorrow off" she suggested and i smiled again. "you know you're always welcome"
i swear this last 24 hours ive smiled more than i have in ages. shark settled down in my lap. and i did wonder why marley had called me. when i was about to ask there was a knock at my door.
