bir th day

marley's pov
i woke up in the morning before everyone else.
right now i am taking a break from work and everyone and just taking a while to heal a little bit. get back into the swing of things. i guess.

margret by lana started playing matching the cold october weather.

i made myself a warm coffee.

i don't even like coffee.

folding my legs underneath me, i sat at our little table drinking the coffee and eating a sliced apple with peanut butter.

it was only 5am but i wanted to run and felt too sluggish to get moving.
"sh sh lets go wake her up" i hear down the girls hall. i watch as they full on tip toe out of their hallway only to stop like a deer in headlights.

"you're supposed to be sleepingggg" alyssa groaned walking over to me. she wrapped her arms around me tightly kissing my cheek and forehead a million times.

"happy birthday marley!" she said happily.
"thanks lyss"

"if i can't wake you im going to go wake your girlfriend" alyssa said running off.
i laughed to myself before remembering last nights activities. rushing out of my seat i catch her just before she gets to the door.

i shove my body i front of the door and politely tell her to let her sleep.
she looked at me annoyed before putting a mum face on.

"she's not nude in there is she" i just smiled and looked down at the now cherry redhead.

she didn't open the door but did start banging on it like a lunatic.
"EILISH WAKE UP! YOUR GIRLFRIEND RUINED OUR PLAN!" she was shouting.

it only took a minute for billie to open the door with a large shirt on.
"the fuck time is it" she said before seeing me. "happy birthday baby" she wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed my neck.

"thank you billie" i smiled putting my hands on either side of her face to kiss her.

"get a room" i hear lyss comment pushing passed us.

"YOU KICKED ME OUT OF IT" billie was yelling after her. those two act like sisters i swear. she singer grabbed my hand and lead me back to the bedroom yelling at the others to hurry up.

"what have you guys planned" i looked at her suspiciously. she shrugged with a smile and pulled me into her lap.

she ran her hands up my thighs kissing my neck. "i have plans for you tonight" she whispered against my neck.

"WE'RE READY" we hear from outside. getting up i suspiciously walk out with billie covering my eyes.

when she moves her hands there's presents on the table banners up over the windows. i smile at my friends and bring them in for a hug.

"i seriously said not to buy me anything" i said looking at the couple of presents on the table.

"mars it's us"

i opened the presents and the second alyssa said the last one was more for billie i stopped opening it and stared at her.

"gotta use my discount for something" the victoria secret model said with a laugh. "someone we want to see it" she insisted and i rolled my eyes opening the box.

a red lacey thing that really didn't cover a lot. i look to billie who's clearly in another world imagining it.

everyone makes their breakfasts and we all sit around the table talking.
the girls had work, billie was taking me shopping apparently. she had gotten me stuff of course but she said she wants to spoil me. like she doesn't already.

"what am i supposed to do with my money if not spend it on my girlfriend" she would say.

so now i was getting ready in the bathroom. i put on my favourite pair of jeans. how they now sit very low rise across my hipbones.

i sigh wiping my waterline and pull my top on. starting my hair billie comes into the bathroom. she placed her hands on my hips. i feel her squeeze my sides before doing it again.

"i don't think ive ever seen someone as beautiful as you amor" she whispered. and i smiled turning down my getting ready music.

i haven't actually opened my phone yet today. not needing the disappointment of no messages.

it was 9am by now, my body felt tired and dehydrated. god i hope i wasn't getting sick.

billie and i were at the shops. like an actual shopping centre. and she didn't have any security. i was scared for her but she was at ease knowing i could take anyone down.

i'm not who i was a few months ago.

billie's pov
marley and i were shopping and i seriously couldn't help but notice how much thinner she's gotten.

i'm talking to her tomorrow. i can't keep watching her do this to herself im not letting it, as she says, run its course.

we get some clothes, shoes. stuff like that until stopping at a restaurant for lunch.
i watched as she got nervous and i hated it. i hate that she has to deal with this.

after that i took her to a private beach. there was one other person walking their dog. low key looks like chris evan's but i don't know. we sat side by side and she rested her head on my shoulder.

"thank you for today" she said softly. "you know i don't care for my birthday but today was fun"

"the days not over just yet" i whispered kissing her cheek. with an airpod in each we listened to a range of music as the wind blew around us.

i thought everything was all okay but then she started to sob. i turn to my girl looking at her confused but comforting her without a question.

she tried to suppress her tears as she dug her head into her knees and wrapped her arms over as if to protect her from the world.

"marley, talk to me. baby what's wrong?"
