marley's pov billie's been really busy for the past 2 weeks with her album and everything. i try to spend time with her but she's always got something on.
i get it. she still makes sure to call me every night even if it's just for a couple minutes and text me good morning every morning. sometimes she's even been sending voice notes of her saying she loves me.
alyssa and willow were back now from placement and there was alot to catch them up on. i was curled up on the couch watching a david attenborough documentary. one about whales. it was the first thing to come to interest on the tv.
the tv went quiet and i heard the girls talking in the kitchen. "lyss, look at this photo from before we left and now, i think she's back there again" "picture could morph what she looks like?" "alyssa come on, we need to talk to her"
"im not deaf guys" i said resting my head on my knee. "you guys can barely whisper"
"okay then, mars have you eaten today?" "yes" i said flatly they grilled me with questions knowing i suck at saying stuff on the spot. but with years of dealing with this i have some pretty good rehearsed answers.
i didn't tell them about me loosing my job, both jobs. i didn't tell them about the medical assessment. and i don't know why.
i still haven't been into the gp to do what they wanted. i probably never will. my stomach growled uncomfortably and i wrapped an arm around my self tuning back into my show.
the truth is since my fast food meal with billie the other day i haven't had another proper meal since. i just don't feel like it.
it was the late evening and there was a knock at the door alyssa got it, i didn't look to see who it was.
not until arms snaked over my shoulders. "hi baby" she whispered kissing my cheek.
"hi billlie" i whispered back. " are you okay?" she squeezed me in a hug. i let out a breath and let myself relax.
"yeah, didn't you have an interview tonight?" "they canceled it"
i nodded pulling her over the top of the couch so she can lay with me. she laid down and i laid ontop of her, my body between her legs my head on her chest. she was wearing baggy clothes as usual and i could feel her jeanis stabbing me.
it was cool in our apartment as the star pulled a blanket over us. she wrapped her arms around my back squeezing tightly. i felt at peace, the weight in my chest was lifted and i felt fully encased in safety.
billie ran her nails through my hair, press ons obviously, she was watching the document with fill interest and i smiled. alyssa came and blatently took a photo of us and the only problem we had was her covering the show.
she moved and continued doing what she was doing.

the girls were making dinner, pasta probably, it is a thursday. willow was dancing around the kitchen listening to blame it on the boogie singing too. my doco ended and i sighed into my girlfriend as something else played on auto play. she pulled me up to kiss my forehead, over and over again.
"im going to tell people lunch is about you"
"of course you are" i laughed making her laugh too. i could feel the vibrations all over my body. i pressed my lips to her neck with a smile.
"dinner love birds" they called out. my demeanor instantly changed.
"you go, im just going to the toilet really quick" i said and billie gave me a sad look.
i spent i dont know, 5 minutes in the bathroom before rejoining everyone else unfortunately they had waited for me but they were all on the couch, deciding a movie. i sat between willow and billie water bottle in hand.
"youre not eating?" billie asked me resting her hand on my leg. i shook my head not wanting to argue.
"not tonight, im not hungry" i settled more into the couch my eyes fixated on the tv.
"baby-" "no stop, i dont need a lecture" she just held my hand and i looked up trying to keep the tears in.
willows pov
only an hour later and marley went to bed. the 3 of us sat in silence for a while. "you guys have noticed it to?" billie spoke up first. i look over at her and shes staring at her hands. alyssa and i quietly said yeah.
"she wont accept our help, and i dont think she wants to get better this time. "
