billieeilish: happy birthday to my gorgeous girl. i love you so much marley, you deserve everything good that comes your way and trust me i know there's so much more good to come. you are one of the strongest girls i know and still manage to always put a smile on my face. i don't know what i would do without you. i promise to spend the rest of my life by your side.

the next day

3rd person pov
marley was awake at 4:30am. her girlfriend had quite literally fallen asleep a mere 30 minutes ago.

slowly she unraveled from the singers arms and got up to get ready for the gym. it's like she woke up pre annoyed.

the dinner tonight with her mother was stressing her out and she was seriously considering skipping. but the little girl in her heart wanted to hear her mother out.

after getting changed she kissed billie's head and left her a message incase she woke up. when she left her room she saw alyssa's boyfriend? constant hook up? she wasn't sure.

"paul" she said flatly.
"marley" he nodded.

she left the building and started walking to the gym. it wasn't far and she needed to clear her mind.

she tried to buzz in but her key wasn't working. stupid gym and their stupid rules about health. she was only allowed to work out for 2 hours during staffed hours once a day until she's "healthy" she thought this was complete bullshit.

luckily her gym friend was arriving at the same time. "buzzer not working?" she questioned.

"seems not?" marley shrugged moving aside for lauren to swipe her pass. of course hers works.

"maybe you just need another one, mine was broken for a while a couple months ago and it took ages before they got me a replacement" she said and they parted ways once they got to the locker rooms.

3 and a half  hours later.

at 8:30 a certain celebrity walked through the front doors. considering the staff was just arriving they were surprised when she walked through considering you had to buzz up.

billie eilish was in the gym which caused a few heads to turn to her. but she only had her eyes looking for one girl.

a girl hunched over the stairmaster.

the star stood on the machine next to her and turned marley's off with the safety switch. this broke the girl out of her focus and she looked up about to be pissed.

she looked taken aback when she saw billie there.
"oh, good morning" marley smiled. "are you joining me or something?"

"baby come on, you've been here for almost 4 hours and it's not even 9am" billie said mad but understanding. marley clenched her jaw but couldnt argue. she stepped off the machine and almost started falling. billie caught her instantly. 

tears started brimmed her eyes and she grabbed her stuff leading her girlfriend down the other door to not be seen by staff. downstairs billie took charge and got in the drivers seat leaving marley to get in the passenger side. 

they didnt say a word to each other 

billies pov

i wake up in the morning expecting marley to be by my side but all i find is a text on my phone saying shes gone to the gym. at 4:30. considering it was just past 8am and she wasnt home i knew she was still there. 

i got willow to drive me on her way to work and i used marleys spare pass to get in. i knew i was getting some looks but it didnt phase me. 

after walking through the gym i found my girl hunched over a stair machine.

i was driving to my house and marley was quiet a million things going through my mind. she didnt question when we pulled up to my house and just walked in heading for my shower. downstairs i started cooking breakfast. 

she came down 20 minutes later and i could smell my conditioner. she was wearing a long sleeve of mine and some sweat pants. marley was playing with the rings on her fingers as she sat with her arms wrapped around her shins. 

i slid the plate of food over to her. it wasnt alot, 2 bits of toast and scrambled eggs. i only ever have a few eggs in my house for her. my friend has chickens and gives away the eggs. 

"please dont make me" she whispered staring at it. 

"come on marley, you know you have too" i said softley. she just shook her head almost pleading. 

"ill eat later billie i promise" she says turning away from it. i go and sit next to her placing a hand on her knee. i didnt want to plead with her and i know she ate last night but she has to know this isnt healthy. 

she reached forward and took a bite. "happy?" she said leaning back in her chair. i nodded praising her but asking her to eat more. she ate with tears streaming down her face. i could tell she had a million thoughts running through her mind. 

after we had breakfast we laid on the couch. i kept her in my arms and she fell asleep again. a mid day storm started raining on the windows and i sighed. i needed to figure out how to help her. 

i had a pop up show next week that my team were trying to get me prepared for but i kept pushing them off. i felt bad but it will be fine.

from the next chapter im going to move the book along alot faster as it seems very repetitive and boring right now so buckle up.
