***Emerald's POV***

I didn't know what I was feeling. Charlie had gone psycho and betrayed me, Peter never came to save me, and Holly was dead. Her motionless body lay before me, her head on my knees. Her blood mixed with my dried blood on the dress, creating swirls of red against the white. She didn't deserve to die, not here, not without seeing her family. It was that moment I realized that I didn't know if Holly even had a family or where she came from. I couldn't return her to her family if I had no idea who she really was. What kind of friend was I? I looked down at her face, the blood dripping from her mouth was slowly drying. I brought my fingers to gently bring her eyelids over her eyes. I couldn't look into her blue eyes any longer, I felt as if her eyes were staring into the very core of me and seeing all my secrets. I slowly placed her head on the ground and brought myself to my feet. My entire being was aching, physically and mentally. How much more of this could I take? At the beginning of this big mess I thought that Peter was my hero, that he was saving me from my life. Now I'm starting to see things more clearly, what he brought me was pain and misery. I had to take matters into my own hands. This was it, I was going to take my life back. I had to take care of Holly first, no way was I going to leave her in this place. I would find a way to bring her home, wherever home was going to be. My hands wrapped around her legs and neck as I tried to lift her, but I couldn't carry her. I wasn't strong enough and I was weak from Charlie's beating.

"Don't worry Holly. I'm coming back. I just need some help, I promise that I won't leave you." I was aware she couldn't hear me, but I hoped that somehow she was listening and knew that I wasn't going to abandon her.

I knew exactly who I needed to find, I just didn't know where to find him. Felix could be anywhere on this stupid island. My feet carried me through the forest as quickly as they could, the dress weighing me down considerably. I tried ripping at the silky fabric to make moving easier, but the material was too thick. I reached the clearing that lead to the beach and continued my search for Felix or anyone for that matter. There wasn't a single person in sight, I called out for help and listened to my voice echo into the sky. My lungs burned and I slowed myself to a walk when tears began to well in my eyes. I was scared and frustrated, I felt totally alone.

"Oh, look! At least there is a ship over there that I can for sure sail all by myself." I looked down to my hands and saw the dried blood, I couldn't be sure if it was mine or Holly's. I began rubbing my hands furiously at my dress. I ran to the water and scrubbed my hands together, desperately wanting the blood off. I saw my reflection in the water, I looked horrible. I was absolutely covered in blood, my cheek was a dark purple color, and my lip was split.

"Wait." My head shot up towards the ship.

"A ship! Everyone must be on it!" I got up and began to move when I felt hands pull my arms behind my back into a painful position. I screamed and struggled when I saw two men standing before me.

"Hook, would you let her go." A tall man with light brown hair and a kind face stepped closer. The hands released me and I fell to the sand. I looked up at the man called Hook, he had stunning blue eyes, like Holly had.

"Are you alright?" The man with brown hair had kneeled in front of me. He held an expression of genuine concern.

"Mate, she's fine. Let's just take her to my ship." My eyes widened when I realized that these three men were adults. Something was seriously wrong.

"She's got blood all over her, she might be hurt." He reached his hand out towards me, but I flinched away. He brought his hand back to his side and gave me a sympathetic look.

"Gold, will you help me get her on her feet." The two men roped their arms around me and practically carried me. I couldn't overpower all of them and in this dress they were most definitely faster. I wasn't getting out of this, they were taking me with them.

"Wait, Holly! I can't leave her! I promised her I wouldn't leave her!" I tore myself away from the two, but Hook caught my arm and flung me over his shoulder.

"We can't just leave someone here!" The brown haired man had stopped walking.

"We don't have the time." The third man, Gold, had spoken.

"Please," I screamed. "I can't leaver her body here, please!" I screamed as loud as I could as I felt the tears rolling down my cheeks. I could hear the men whispering to one another. I saw the brown haired man's eyes and I knew then, we weren't going back for Holly.

I kicked and punched at Hook and screamed louder than I ever had.

"No! I'm not leaving her here! Holly! Please go back, PLEASE!" I continued my screams of protest and called out Holly's name. The thought of her body rotting in this awful place made me sick. The tears soaked my face and fell onto Hook's back. We neared the ship and my words had become incoherent screams. My throat was raw and I felt like it wasn't Holly who was dead, but me.

We boarded the ship and Hook returned me to my feet. All of the lost boys were aboard the ship, including a very defeated looking Felix. I ran to him and knelt beside him, his eyes lit up when he realized it was me.

"You're back! How did you get yourself back here and holy shit are you hurt? Where are you hurt?" He began to search for a wound of a sort, but I just started to cry.

"Emerald, where does it hurt? Talk to me." I looked down at all the red and tried to just breathe.

"Felix, Holly's dead." He stopped poking at me looking for the source of the blood and brought his eyes up to mine.

"What?"

"I don't know how or why. I found her just before she died. Felix, there was nothing I could do. I'm so sorry." My voice cracked as I struggled to keep myself together.

"At least you were there with her. She didn't have to die alone." I could hear the sadness in his voice as he began to stand.

"I'm sorry, but I just need to be alone right now." He nodded at me and walked to sit by himself. I curled my knees into my chest and looked around, Peter wasn't here. I looked to rush to Felix to ask him where he was. I walked to him and saw that he had his head down, his body was shaking. My body was burning to ask him, but he needed time to process what happened. I walked over to a pile of rope and sat down, letting my tears continue to fall. There was a fourth man, along with three other women aboard the ship. I was too scared to ask who they were, what they wanted, or where we all were going.

I was about to attempt to fall asleep when I small woman with short black hair sat in front of me.

"Hi there, what's your name?" She seemed to be very nice, I just wasn't in the mood for talking.

"Emerald." I said and looked away from her.

"I'm Snow. I know you're probably very scared and-"

"Hold up, Snow as in Snow White?" I was praying that she wouldn't say yes.

"Yes, that's me." She smiled and I was about ready to burst.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me. I was on Neverland with Peter Pan, I was kidnapped by Aladdin's son, and now I'm on a ship with Snow White! This just keeps getting better an better." She looked at me like she was concerned, but I just got up and walked towards some steps and sat down. I put my head in my hands and tried to hold the fragile pieces left of myself together. I rubbed my hands over my face and split my fingers apart at my eyes to peak through them. Felix was talking to a boy with dark brown hair, they were whispering. I had seen the boy before somewhere, I just couldn't pin where exactly. Felix nodded towards me and I quickly looked away before the two realized I was staring at them. I glanced at them to see if they were looking at me, the brown haired boy was looking into my eyes. His eyes held an expression of relief, longing, and unexplainable happiness. He was looking at me like a boy who had been away for too long, and I was home to him.
