I was flying.

I was flying in the dark sky and the stars surrounded me. I danced and twirled in the galaxies that encompassed me. My feet carried me across the sky, waltzing in the heavens. Then he appeared and I was no longer flying, but on a cliff overlooking an ocean. He smiled at me and whispered pretty words into my ear. He held me in his warm embrace and promised to never leave my side. He took my hands and led us into a dance.

He held me tight to him as we danced, too tight.

"Peter." I said as I tried to loosen his grip, but he only held me tighter.

His smiled turned dark and he began to move faster. He dragged me along as I pleaded for him to stop. He spun me around and around and I was powerless against him.

"Peter, STOP." I begged and he came to halt. His back was to the trees and mine was to the ocean below. I looked behind me and my feet were inches from the edge. My eyes looked into his lifeless stare and he laughed.

"What a fool you are." He spoke to me and my eyes began to sting as tears formed.

"I could never care about you." He said as he once again laughed.

"Goodbye Em." He looked at me with pity in his eyes as he pushed me into the raging waters beneath below.

I screamed helplessly as I fell. My body hit the icy water and I sank deeper and deeper into its depths.

I struggled for air and tried to scream. I was scared. As my movements slowed I heard my name being called again and again. It grew louder with each time it was said. It crescendoed in my ears and my eyes jolted open.

"EMERALD! Wake up, it's ok! You're ok!" I took deep heavy breaths as two arms wrapped around me. I was dreaming, it was just a dream.

"Hey there," Holly said. "How are you feeling? You were really dehydrated and overheated." She smiled at me wiped away my tears with her thumbs.

"I'm dizzy." I replied as the room around me spun. I was in a room, where was I?

"I'll get you some water." Holly left the chair next to the bed I was laying in.

I looked around me and tried to make form of the blurry room. There was windows, a hole in the floor, and-

Wait, a hole in the floor? I sat up to try and look closer but all I could see was the end of a ladder in the hole.

"You know Em, you gave Pan quite a scare." Holly handed me a cup of water and sat down at the end of the bed. I drank the water and gave her a doubtful look.

"Really! He was all panicked when he couldn't find you. He was freaking out at me when I told him I saw you in the woods when... When umm...." Holly looked around the room, her eyes avoiding mine.

"About that," she laughed nervously. "I'm sorry that-"

"Holly, it's ok." I reached out and patted her hand. "You have nothing to be sorry for." I gave her a reassuring smile as I did my best to ignore the mental images of Holly and Felix getting it on.

"You sure?" She asked, her cheeks flushed with a deep crimson red.

"Absolutely." I said as I fell back onto the pillow.

"Where are we?" I asked as my eyes focused on the wooden ceiling.

"Pan's treehouse. I've actually never been in here before, I don't think anyone is allowed." She looked around and settled her eyes back on me.

"So, why are we here if it isn't allowed?" My head hurt as I tried to recall everything that had happened. I remembered stumbling through the forest and falling in defeat.
