Stay calm. Breathe, breathing is important. Oh hell, how much longer!?!! Gross, my hands are all sweaty, that's real attractive...

I paced back and forth in the tree house, desperately wanting time to move faster. Peter had asked for my presence down at the waterfall. What for though? I have been waiting here, thinking of all the possibilities. Perhaps it was a date, or a casual friendly meeting, maybe it was a complete and utter rejection.

I had to look perfect, no matter what Peter wanted me for. I combed my wavy brown hair to perfection and cleaned myself up the best I could. Turns out, Holly can sew, that girl is a goddess. She made me a beautiful green colored dress that fit me perfectly. The straps fit comfortably on my shoulders and the length stopped a few inches short of my knees.

"This is as good as its going to get." I sighed as I began to climb down the ladder. I stood at the base of the tree and waited for Peter's arrival. It seemed like hours had passed as I paced nervously back and back and forth.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick freaking tock.

I groaned in frustration and almost started to walk to camp to try and find that dumb boy. But, in the corner of my eye, I saw something on the ground. An arrow pointing to my left had formed in the ground. It wasn't there a second ago, or was it? Regardless, I turned in the direction the arrow guided me.

After a few minutes I wasn't sure if I was still going in the correct direction. Ahead of me, just for a second, a light shimmered. I ran to the source of the light and discovered another arrow had been burned into a tree, only now it was pointing to my right.

I smiled, Peter was playing a game with me. I skipped happily along the arrow's guidance, quietly humming to myself. My eyes scanned for more signs of arrows, but I saw nothing, maybe this wasn't a game. Just then, I felt the ground moving beneath my toes. I shrieked and jumped back only to see another arrow, pointing straight ahead.

I sped up my pace and darted my way around trees. I could tell I was near the waterfall, I could hear the sound of the water rushing. I could see it now, I could see where the tree line ended and the stones of the beach started. I froze, stopping my movements just before the trees ended. I took a deep breath and tried to mentally prepare myself for any situation.

With one last breath, my bare feet stepped out onto the pebbles and into the moonlight. I slowly stepped forward, scanning the area for Peter. I felt my entire body erupt in a tingly sensation when I saw him. His back was to me as he stood looking to the waterfall. If it was possible to look even more attractive from behind, Peter could.

I didn't know if I should say something or just walk up next to him... Stand. Yeah, just stand and wait from him to realize-

"Took you long enough." He said without turning to look at me.

"I'm not a very good with directions." I laughed, but quickly stopped when he did not react. He still faced away from me, completely still. I cautiously walked closer to him, taking tiny steps.

"I-" He began but stopped when he turned to look at me. He gasped quietly and stared at me. I stood awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

Peter cleared his throat and recomposed himself.

"Thank you for coming." He said as his face hardened and he turned to look back at the moon.

"Uh, yeah, no problem." I shifted uncomfortably. Where was this going?

"I can't- I mean I want to... But it's just-" The words tumbled out of his mouth as he finally looked me in the eyes. His eyes were filled with a look of desperation.
