A Lifetime Of Mistakes

MK's P.O.V
A lot had happened in just a short amount of time. After I had failed to get Monkey Queen's scroll piece from Azure Lion, and it got split in half, I didn't know what to do.

So, I retreated to Flower Fruit Mountain, strugling with my monkey form, then Macaque appeared, making me play this horribly animated game with terrible art, but the lesson was to make your own path.

That's when I figured out a plan. I had learned to summon a cloud and ride it all the way to the Celestial Realm where the others, including Nezha, were there.

I got the broken scroll piece back from Azure Lion and had Tang teleport us out of there.

There's just one problem, Azure Lion had dethroned the Jade Emperor, but now the universe is trying to tear itself apart.

Currently, we're trying to repair the scroll piece so we can get Monkey Queen out of there.

Cracks appeared in the sky, them disappeared again.

"Uh... at least it's pretty?" Mei said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh, sure. If you ignore the strong "end of the world" vibes." Pigsy crosses his arms.

"The Pig Man is right." Nezha spoke up.

"Hmm?"

"Azure underestimated the control it takes to wield the power of the Jade Emperor. If we don't stop him, that power is gonna tear this world apart. Monk, the scroll. Have you repaired it?" Nezha turned to Tang.

"Uh, my name is Tang, not monk, hut here we are, one repaired piece of magical bamboo scroll comin' up!" Tang presented the scroll piece, but it was horribly wrapped up in tape.

"You can't be serious. There's no way that'll hold!" Nezha shouts.

"There ain't nothin' a bit of tape can't fix." Sandy said.

"Alrighty! Now, to jump in there and find Monkey Queen!" I with confidence.

Mei pulled me off to the side. "Wait! How do you know that Monkey Queen is still..."

I shook the thought off. "What? It's fine! It's Monkey Queen! The girl is indestructible."

"Be thay as it may, we have no idea what you'll find once you're inside. Or if this magical tape will even hold!" Nezha pointed out.

"Oh, it's not magical tape." Sandy said, making Tang shush him while Nezha silently glared at them.

"We have to try. She'd do the same for any of us." I said to everyone.

Nezha sighs. "You're right. It's worth the attempt."

Macaque's P.O.V
"Don't think you're going without me, kid." I appeared beside MK.

"Wha?! You're coming too?!" MK looked at me in shock.

"If anybody is going after her, it's me, I knew her better." I told him. "And besides, your knowledge of the Journey to the West seems pretty selective."

MK gasps in offense before he shrugged. "What— You know what? Your criticism is harsh but fair. Alright, LE'GO!"

Tang used his powers and sent me and MK into the scroll piece.

We landed in a memory of Flower Fruit Mountain, standing in front of Shulian Cave, but the waterfall had a giant golden crack over it.

"Oh, Y/n, what happened?" I looked at the crack.

"Monkey Queen, did this?" MK looked at the golden crack in shock.

I sighed. "It looks like she was tearing her way through her past. Trying to find her way to..."
