Neil prided himself on his punctuality—a trait ingrained in him by his military father, whose stern yet loving person isce shaped his upbringing. Tall and lean with a quiet strength in his stride, Neil navigated the bustling streets of Delhi with a purposeful air. His dark eyes, often carrying a hint of introspection, scanned the cityscape with a keen observation that reflected his analytical mind.

A software engineer by profession, Neil found solace in the structured world of coding and algorithms, a stark contrast to the unpredictability of daily life. He cherished moments spent with a good book, seeking refuge in the realms of literature that offered both escape and intellectual stimulation. Yet, beneath his reserved demeanor lay a depth of empathy and a gentle kindness that few outside his inner circle had the privilege to witness.

In a vibrant corner of Delhi, where old meets new in a symphony of colors and chaos, Aarohi thrived amidst the energy of the city. Her laughter, bright and infectious, echoed through the narrow alleys and lively cafes where she often found herself surrounded by friends. Aarohi embodied a free-spirited nature, her optimism a beacon that drew people towards her effortlessly.

Always running a tad late, Aarohi's friends teasingly dubbed her the perpetual 'latecomer,' a title she wore with good humor and a touch of defiance. Her days were filled with a whirlwind of activities—meeting friends for chai, exploring hidden bookstores, and soaking in the cultural richness of her surroundings. Despite her occasional bouts of forgetfulness, Aarohi possessed a sharp wit and a genuine curiosity about the world, traits that colored her interactions with an endearing authenticity.

Neil's footsteps echoed faintly against the polished floors of the Delhi airport terminal, a testament to his disciplined upbringing and military background. Standing tall with a quiet confidence, he possessed a demeanor that commanded respect yet harbored an underlying warmth that few could perceive at first glance. His dark hair was neatly trimmed, and his attire reflected a blend of professionalism and casual ease—a subtle nod to his dual roles as a software engineer and a dedicated reader.

In the midst of the airport's chaotic rhythm, Neil found solace in the pages of a book. His love for literature transcended mere escapism; it was a portal to worlds both real and imagined, offering him moments of introspection and intellectual growth. His gaze, often thoughtful and piercing, swept across the terminal with a keen observation that betrayed a keen intellect honed by years of rigorous study and quiet reflection.

Meanwhile, amidst the vibrant tapestry of Delhi's bustling streets, Aarohi moved with a grace that belied her perpetual state of slight disarray. Her laughter, as effervescent as the city itself, mingled with the aromatic scents of street food and the buzz of lively conversations that filled the air. Aarohi was a whirlwind of energy, her presence a magnet for laughter and camaraderie among her friends.

With tousled hair that hinted at a morning rush and a smile that could light up a room, Aarohi's spirit embraced spontaneity and adventure. Her days were filled with an eclectic mix of exploring quaint bookstores, debating over chai with friends, and immersing herself in the cultural tapestry that Delhi offered. Despite her occasional tardiness—a trait lovingly teased by her friends—Aarohi's enthusiasm for life shone through in every interaction, her genuine curiosity about the world igniting conversations that often lingered long after she had moved on.

The Delhi airport is bustling with travelers hurrying to their destinations. Neil, dressed impeccably in a business suit, stands near the arrival gate. He checks his watch again, his expression one of mild irritation. He has always prided himself on being punctual and finds waiting particularly irksome.*

Neil (thinking): Why is it so hard for people to be on time?

Meanwhile, Aarohi rushes through the airport, her hair slightly disheveled from the hurry. She juggles her handbag, a phone, and a coffee cup, her eyes darting around as she navigates the crowd. She glances at her watch, panic flashing across her face.

Aarohi (thinking):Great, I’m late again. Why can’t I ever be on time?

She fumbles with her phone and quickly dials her mother's number while trying to maneuver through the throng of people.

Aarohi: Hi, Mom. I just reached the airport. I’ll be there soon, I promise. Sorry for running late!

Naira (on the phone): It’s alright, Aarohi. Just be careful and hurry up.

Aarohi: I know, Mom. I’ll be there in no time.

Just as she ends the call and tries to pick up her pace, Aarohi accidentally bumps into Neil, almost dropping her coffee and phone. Neil catches her just in time, steadying her with a firm grip. His initial irritation is evident as he looks at her, but he quickly masks it with a polite expression.

Neil: Watch where you're going!

Aarohi (breathless): I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to—

She looks up, their eyes meeting for the first time. There’s a moment of silence as they both take in the situation. Aarohi’s face flushes slightly, embarrassed by her clumsiness.

Neil (softening slightly): It's alright. Just be careful next time.

Aarohi (smiling nervously): Thanks. I really am sorry. I’m just in a bit of a hurry.

Neil nods, checking his watch again out of habit. Aarohi notices and realizes she’s making him wait even longer.*

Aarohi: Are you waiting for someone?

Neil: Yes, but it seems they’re running late.

Aarohi (chuckling): Story of my life. I’m always late. Guess you just met the queen of tardiness.

Neil can’t help but smile at her honesty and the way she candidly admits her flaw. There’s something endearing about her openness.

Neil:Well, maybe the universe is trying to teach you a lesson through me.

Aarohi (laughing):Maybe! Anyway, I hope your friend shows up soon. Have a good day!

She gives him a quick wave and hurries off, still flustered but with a hint of a smile on her face. Neil watches her go, a mix of curiosity and amusement in his eyes. He hadn’t expected this little encounter to be so intriguing.

As Aarohi disappears into the crowd, she mutters to herself, trying to calm her racing heart.

Aarohi (thinking): What a way to start the day. I hope I’m not too late.

Neil, meanwhile, finds himself thinking about the brief exchange. It was a small moment, but something about it lingers in his mind.

Neil (thinking) Interesting start to the day, indeed.
