Part 5 Ruhi Neil Birla ✨

Ruhi was playing in the park with her new friend, the sun casting a warm glow on the vibrant green grass as laughter echoed through the playground. The children around her were lively and carefree, their shouts of joy filling the air. Ruhi smiled as she chased her friend, her small feet barely touching the ground as she darted between swings and slides. Yet, even as she ran, her mind began to wander, the sounds of the park fading as memories from her past began to surface.

She remembered how she used to play hide and seek at the grand Birla house, where she felt like the princess of a magical kingdom. It was a place of endless love, where she was  " Mumma's jaan" and "Poppy's Princess".they adored her like their precious jewel.
The memory of running through those vast hallways, her giggles echoing against the walls, brought a soft smile to her face. She had everything a little girl could wish for—a beautiful home, a family who loved her more than anything, and friends who would join her in her playful adventures. But even in those moments of pure happiness, there was something missing, a piece of her heart that felt incomplete.

Ruhi's smile faltered as she remembered the emptiness that often crept into her thoughts. **It was her papa, the one person she had never met but yearned for more than anything. She had only seen him in photos and videos, yet she loved him with all her heart. In her mind, she would picture him with her in every happy moment, imagining how he would hold her hand when she was scared or how he would lift her high into the air, making her feel like she could touch the sky. He was more than just a figure in a picture; he was her hero, her guide, the one who would protect her from all the bad things in the world.

*Ruhi often found herself staring at his picture before bed, tracing the lines of his face with her tiny fingers. She would close her eyes and pretend that he was there, sitting by her side, telling her stories of faraway lands and adventures. She adored him, this man she had never met but felt so deeply connected to. In her dreams, he was always there, holding her close, telling her how much he loved her, even though he was far away.

But one day, everything changed. Aarohi suddenly decided to take Ruhi away from the Birla house.** It was a day Ruhi would never forget. The packing, the hurried goodbyes, the look of sadness in everyone's eyes—it all felt like a bad dream. Ruhi didn’t understand why they had to leave the only home she had ever known. The Birla house was her castle, a place filled with laughter, warmth, and love. But now, they were moving to a new place, a strange place that felt cold and unfamiliar.

As they left, Ruhi kept looking back, hoping that somehow, everything would go back to normal. But the Birla house grew smaller and smaller in the distance until it finally disappeared. She felt a knot in her stomach, a mix of fear and sadness that she couldn’t shake off. When they arrived at their new home, it didn’t feel like home at all. The walls were bare, the rooms were quiet, and the only sound was the ticking of the clock. It was so different from the lively and vibrant Birla house, and Ruhi couldn’t help but feel lost.

Ruhi’s confusion grew, and one day, she couldn’t hold back her questions any longer. "Mumma, why did we leave?" she asked, her voice trembling. Aarohi looked at her with a pained expression, as if the question had opened a wound she had been trying to hide. Aarohi knelt down beside Ruhi, taking her small hands in hers. "Ruhi, I had to take you away because they wouldn’t allow you to know about your papa," Aarohi said, her voice breaking. "They wanted to keep you from knowing who he was, from knowing how much he loved you."

Ruhi’s eyes filled with tears as the words sank in. How could they keep her papa away from her? How could they stop her from knowing the man she had dreamed about every night? Anger bubbled up inside her, mixed with a deep sadness that made her chest ache. She didn’t understand why the people who loved her so much would do something so hurtful. For days, she couldn’t stop thinking about it, and every time she looked at her mother, she saw the pain in her eyes.
