CHAPTER 27

I WENT HOME without telling Elieazer, nagtaxi ako from mall to our home. I am still in my confused state, that scenario made me ask a lot of questions, but those questions cannot be answered by me.

My phone rang for a couple of times. But I wasn't able to answer, I was here inside the bathroom, taking a shower after vomitting.

My phone still kept on ringing, I checked kung sino iyon, it was Elieazer and he had already 25 miscalls. I chatted Gabriel to tell his boss I am already home.

As usual I did my routines. I cleaned the house, make sure every corner was cleaned and so on. Busy akong naglilinis ng may matanggap akong tawag from Kuya Aster.

"Hello?" I said, while I was still mopping the floor.

"Guin, how are you?"

Napakunot naman ang noo ko, saka ko inilayo ang cellphone sa tenga ko para tignan kung tama ba ang kausap ko. I thought I was hallucinating, but it was indeed my brother—Kuya Aster!

"I'm g-good, Kuya. Is there something wrong?" I asked while I still continue to mop the floor.

"Can we meet?" muli nitong sambit.

Mas lalong napakunot ang noo ko, because after a long time this is the first time Kuya Aster called me for a meet up.

"Now?"

"Yes"

"Where and what time?" I asked.

Sinabi naman nito kung saan kami magkikita, it was the cafe I used to go to when I was in college, malapit siya sa University kung saan ako nag aral.

After finishing my chores, I went straight to the bathroom to clean myself up. After that ay nagbihis na ako, I just wore a light brown, simple, loose, shirt and paired it with black trousers. Nagflat sandals na lang ako saka ko kinuha ang maliit kong bag na naglalaman ng cash at phone ko.

I went straight to the cafe, naabutan ko doon si Kuya Aster na prenteng nakaupo habang nagkakape, he even ordered some frappe for me already—My favorite frappe to be exact.
