Elieazer's POV
Before the marriage

I ADMIT I am starting to like Guinevere, the longer she stays with me, the more I get to know more about her. She's sweet, and kind, opposite to what her family and Vera has been telling me.

I tried to dig more about her case but everything just points at her—as the one who killed her twin sister.

Am I missing something?

"Kamusta ang plano? may progress na ba?" Vera asked, she keeps on coming here in my office just to ask me about the plan, which pisses me off. I know she's not in good terms with Guinevere but she cannot just barge in, in my office as she pleases.

"Can you stop coming here just for that? I know what I'm doing" I irritatedly said.

"Talaga ba Elieazer? You cannot fool me" she said as if provoking me. "For me you looked like someone who has been deceived by Guinevere"

"Can you go out? You're starting to piss me off"

She went out after I told her that, Vera is starting to get on my nerves and I don't even know why I am reacting this way? I should be sticking to the plan right?

I saw from my GPS that Guin went to a coffee shop, I immediately grabbed my coat and canceled all my meetings so I can check whom she is with right now. Mahirap na baka may kinikita na pala siya, perhaps kakampi niya sa ginawa niya kay Guineth?

The moment I arrived at the coffee shop, I saw her with her bestfriend and my friends. It seems like they are having fun because of the way they tease each other.

I suddenly saw red when I saw Trein trying to sit down beside Guinevere. Walang pwedeng tumabi sakanya, kundi ako lang! So I decided to go inside the coffee shop.

Her eyes met mine the moment I entered, her cheeks turned red as she saw me, she even avoided my gaze but still she looked shocked.

Cute!

I sat down beside her.

"I didn't expect to see you here, Quinn" Trein said, making me smirk at him.

"I didn't expect, I'll be here too" I said casually while sipping my favorite coffee.

I noticed how Trein looked at Guinevere whose also enjoying her coffee beside me, I noticed she likes matcha flavored drinks, which is the total opposite of her twin who doesn't like that flavor.

"Oh wait!" Trein said, making me look at him sternly. "Congrats man!" He congratulated me.

I already know where this is going, as he don't know that Guineth has a twin sister.

"Akala ko hindi na kayo magkakatuluyan, but it seems.." He wasn't able to finish what he's going to say because Aiden spilled his drink intentionally.

Muntikan na ako doon!

Trent and Yohan finally arrived, good thing because the attention will be diverted towards them.

As we continue having some conversation, I noticed how Trent knew so much about what Guinevere likes and what she needed to do.

Sigurado ba sila na wala silang past? I think I might have to investigate again.

I felt that Guinevere kept on assuring me that there was nothing going on between her and my bestfriend, which I was shocked to see.

Hindi kasi ganito ang pagkakadescribe saakin ng mga kamag anak niya, except Aiden who kept on telling me I got the wrong idea about her sister.

We decided to go home after the time with our friends, I told Gabriel to cook some seafood cajun for us, since Guineth liked that food so much, I believe Guinevere does too.

As we continue to eat in my office I noticed how she starts to get uncomfortable, I just thought na ganoon lang talaga siya kumain, but when she excused herself, that's when I realized something wasn't right. I tried to follow her in our room only to see that she collapsed.

Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig when I realized what have I done. She's not Guineth! She is Guinevere!

Trent explained to me about her allergic reaction, good thing I was able to bring her immediately before something more serious happened to her.

Guilt is what I am totally feeling right now. Nahihiya akong harapin siya dahil sa kalokohan ko, I am ashamed of myself as well, I have to remind myself that she is GUINEVERE not GUINETH!

I went to see her inside her room, she looked shy so I asked her to look at me, nahihiya pa ito sa una but I insisted that she looked at me. Afterwards I hugged her tightly. I know to myself my actions right now were genuine, I was really worried and scared.

I thought I will lose another important person in my life.

After the incident, I made sure I took care of Guin very well, and I know very well too that I care for her so much rather than her twin.

"Let us remove this portrait, Gabriel" I said as Gabriel and I looked at the portrait here in my office.

"Why? Isn't that the only remembrance you have with Guineth?" He asked confusingly.

"I can still keep it, It's just that I don't want Guinevere doubting me just because of this"

"You really fell for her do you? Sabagay, she's really kind and very opposite from what I have heard about her"

I totally agree with Gabriel, the investigation about Guineth's death is still on going, Some of the cctv footage is still missing and they are still blaming all of it on Guinevere. My baby on the other hand may not look bothered about it but I know deep inside of her she's hurting from everything.

"Gragraduate na ako!!" masaya niyang sabi as she entered the house. Her smile is really captivating, how I wish I'm the only one who can see this beauty but I cannot deprive her of her freedom.

"Congratulations, Ms. Guin!" Gabriel congratulated her.

Tumayo naman ako sa kinauupuan ko saka ko siya sinalubong ng yakap, I even kissed her head as I celebrate with her achievement.

"Congratulations baby!" bulong ko dito. "What do you want to do after your graduation?" I asked.

"Surprise me" She said, as she smiled brightly in front of me.

Right now, I just want to kiss her non stop but I don't want to shock Gabriel with our intimacy.

MONTHS had pass and today is Guin's graduation, I was really really proud of her as she graduated with a latin honor. I couldn't be more proud because despite what we are going through she still manages to handle her studies very well.

Her family on the other hand doesn't seem to be happy about her achievement, specially her mother who just wanted to flaunt that her daughter will be a Quinn soon.

I will make sure her family will suffer soon.

We celebrated Guin's achievement, But instead of celebrating I was pissed off, my mom deliberately mentioned about our supposed to be arranged marriage.

Napatingin ako kay Guin na mukhang nagulat, I think she realized that my mother just deceived her into signing the contract.

I talked to my mother privately about the contract after the celebration.

"It was not my fault she didn't understood the contract! Cum Laude pero simpleng kontrata di niya maintindihan?! My gosh Elieazer!" my mom angrily said.

"What did you just say?" I coldly responded.

My mom went quiet after she heard the way I spoke.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you" my mother said.

I dropped the call, as my head started to ache terribly.

"Tangina! ang sakit!" I almost shouted.

It took me a couple of hours before my head calmed down. After that I went back to our bedroom where my baby was peacefully sleeping.

I promise, I'll protect her at all cost.
