Time flew fast when you were swamped with work, it was already mid January. Charlotte exhaled a breath of relief when she stepped foot in Grand House. The house brought comfort to her because she had been coming here since 2022. She had countless memories, good and bad from these four walls.

“Charlotte, you're here!” Meena came to hug her sister. “How's work?”

“Tiring but at least I’m more relaxed here.” Charlotte smiled at her friend and gave her a side hug, “where's your wife?”

“Aoom is upstairs talking with Boss and P’Fa about work.” Meena answered as she munched on some donuts, she offered some to Charlotte who denied.

The two of them were scheduled for a live cooking to promote Miss Grand's new chilli powder later at 7pm. Charlotte had a workshop in the morning until late afternoon while her girlfriend and Aoom were already at the Grand House meeting with Boss Nawat.

“I'm going to take a short nap, could you call me when it's 6pm?” Charlotte stifled a yawn and said, Meena nodded before Charlotte went upstairs to one of the bedrooms to take a quick nap.

The younger woman switched on the AC and closed the door. Today's workshop was about her movie targeted to premiere in May, she was casted as a lawyer so she had an intensive morning full of studies. When she closed her eyes, her mind was still busy with information but she quickly fell asleep.

Some time later, Engfa gently opened the door to peek in and saw her girlfriend snoring lightly on the bed. Her face softened and snuck in, closing the door behind her.

The manager lifted the blankets and scooted closer until her front was pressed against Charlotte's back. An arm circled the petite woman's waist, Engfa buried her face in Char's hair and breathed in deeply. She released a heavy breath and relaxed against her lover.

Just now after the meeting about MGT stuff, Boss called for her to stay for a private talk. He asked if Englot was open to do a movie together and believed it would be a great hit. Engfa knew it was coming and she too, believed the movie would be successful. However, there were some parts in her that wanted to keep her love life with Char sacred and private instead of monetizing it til it's last drop.

Englot had been monetized from the start til now, every move they made was scrutinized and became ‘moments”. Now that they were finally real, could Engfa let every romantic action they do be filmed? It was one thing to have love scenes when you were a phantom couple, but the idea of filming love scenes as a real couple was uncomfortable to Engfa.

Engfa shook her head from the overwhelming thoughts and focused on Char's presence. At this moment, Char turned around and continued sleeping, her peaceful face undisturbed by worries. Engfa smiled and caressed her face, she will protect their peace for as long as possible.

Engfa closed her eyes without falling asleep, just savoring their quiet peace before Char's next job. When it was nearing 6pm, Engfa kissed Char's forehead and called out tenderly.

“Char, my love. Wake up.” She called out patiently as she loved doing this. However, she hadn't had the chance the past week because their respective schedules did not match.

“Fa?” Charlotte blinked her eyes open and saw that she was in her girlfriend's arms, a smile automatically bloomed on her face. “You're done with your meeting?”

“Yes, it's already 6, baby. Did you sleep well?” Engfa spoke softly.

Charlotte nuzzled their faces together like a cat and nodded sleepily, “Missed you.”

Engfa kissed her girlfriend sweetly, “Me too, teerak. Let's get up now.”

Suddenly, there's a soft knock on the door.
