Sniffles and suppressed sobs could be throughout the theater halls across all shopping malls as the climax played on the screen. Shoulders shook and couples held each other's hands tightly as they watched the final moments of Elena and Chariya's tragic ending.

Charlotte laid her head on Engfa's shoulders and both of their hands were held tightly as well. Their cheeks were wet with tears as they watched their first movie on the first day of release.

The movie was so popular and due to high demands, half of the halls in Siam Paragon's cinema was playing Beyond The Veil. Charlotte and Engfa were in the first and largest hall. They were together with their fellow cast members, family and close friends. When the epilogue played, there were gasps of surprise and delight from their family and friends.

Engfa smiled at their reaction but her eyes fixed on the screen. This was their first time watching their movie after months of filming, the emotional feelings were unprecedented. Finally, the credit rolls and there was a standing ovation from everyone.

Engfa looked down at her lover and smiled when she saw Charlotte was already looking at her ever so lovingly. Taking advantage that the cinema’s lights had yet to turn on, she bent down to give her a sweet kiss.

Charlotte cupped Engfa's cheeks and returned the short kiss. They parted as soon as the lights turned on, their eyes conveyed more than words could ever say. Their friends and family immediately came over to the couple to congratulate them on the breathtaking movie.

“Well done, you two. It was absolutely stunning.” Charlotte's father reached them first and pulled them into a warm hug. Both of their parents had come for the movie as it was one of the biggest milestones in their lives.

“Thank you, dad!” Charlotte grinned before pulling out to hug her mother.

Both parents hug their daughters tightly, giving them words of praises with pride. Next, they were followed by their close friends. For Charlotte, it was Marima, Heidi and Tina who flew back for her movie. She hugged them all dearly and shed another tear of gratitude.

As she turned, she saw Patcha hugging Engfa for quite some time before letting go, she smiled at the sight. Dolly, P’Daad, Nudee, and her other best friends were all there. Charlotte couldn't be happier for Engfa to be surrounded by people who make her happy.

“Congratulations, Charlotte. The movie was perfect, you two ruined my makeup.” Patcha then reached to hug Charlotte who hugged back gratefully.

“That means we did a good job.” Charlotte replied and made eye contact with her girlfriend.

She let go of the hug and naturally went to her girlfriend. Engfa smiled and reached for her with an arm around her waist.

Charlotte looked at Engfa and slightly blushed, she reached out to touch her lips and wipe away the smudged lipstick. Engfa blushed as well and checked her front camera.

“Did you two make out in the dark?” Snack, ever the naughty little sister, piped out beside them.

“*Gasped, at your own movie?” Patcha gasped dramatically.

“We didn't make out!” Engfa scolded them with a blush while Charlotte hid her face in her neck shyly. “It was just a short kiss. Don't act like you two haven't done it before.”

Patcha’s mouth opened and closed like a fish while Snack turned into a blushing mess. Engfa grinned evilly and teased, “Oh, did I guess it right?”

Charlotte peaked her head out and laughed at her blushing friends. These two had been going back and forth for years, she never knew where they stood in each other's lives.
