“Char, where are we going baby?” Engfa asked on a bright Saturday morning. They had a free weekend together before Engfa's birthday and Charlotte had planned a surprise for them.

“You'll see, teerak. You'll love it.” Charlotte said with a smile, she had a cap and sunglasses on as she drove confidently in her Porsche, one hand on Engfa's lap. Their pets were safely secured in the backseats as well. Unbeknownst to Engfa, the car boot was also full of stuff Charlotte had secretly prepared the night before.

“I know I will. Is this my birthday surprise?” Engfa smiled back as she looked at her girlfriend, she stroked Charlotte's hand and played with the ring on it.

“Yes baby,” Char replied, “Your birthday weekend will be busy, you'll be preparing for your new movie release in March right?”

“Chai, the promo will start a month before.” Engfa naturally kissed Charlotte's hand, it warms her heart that they knew each other's schedule well. It's little things like paying attention to her work, her favorite food and activities that made Engfa feel like love is so wonderful with Char.

After their fight and reconciliation, it felt like they had once again become stronger. They had gone through another huddle in their relationship and came out on the other side with unbreakable trust and communication.

The fight and misunderstanding was horrible, when they had serious fights Engfa was always so depressed and anxious, she knew Charlotte was the same. Now that they had gone through it together, they were more united than ever to the point where Engfa did not regret their fights because it made them into who they were now.

Charlotte grinned, “I'm so excited for your movie, I know you have been working so hard on top of your MGT job. I'm going to be in the front seat!”

Engfa rested her head sideways to gaze at her girl, “Of course, you'll be my date.”

“Ooh, movie date! That's so cute, and it'll be my faen's movie!” Charlotte giggled proudly and glanced happily at Engfa before focusing on the road. They were now slowly entering the hills.

“We should go on more movie dates like a normal couple.” Engfa said absentmindedly, a content smile on her face.

“We can if Fa doesn't mind the whole theater pointing their phones at us while the movie is playing.” Charlotte teased.

“Filming is banned at the cinema.” Engfa pouted.

“Of course.” Charlotte laughed then she suddenly asked, “Fa fa, have you tried making out with someone in the cinema?”

“I did.” Engfa smiled suspiciously, Charlotte glanced at her and gasped. “What? You asked!”

“When?”

“When I was in high school, he was my first boyfriend.” Engfa laughed and shook her head, high school felt like a lifetime ago. “We were young and eager, everything was new and exciting.”

Charlotte smiled at her nostalgic expression, “Well, I'm glad you had fun in your teenage years.”

“How about you, Char? Ever kissed someone in the dark?” Engfa asked back and shook the memories away.

Char's smile widened as her eyes fixed on the road, but her mind rolled back to a blurry but cherished memory. “Of course, by the one and only Engfa Waraha in the dark.”

“Which occasion are you referring to, Miss Austin? I kissed you many times in the dark.” Engfa grinned.

“Only the most iconic Roi Et 4am incident, Miss Waraha. Are you still denying that incident?”
