Soon after the bell rang indicating that the lunch break was over, all the students who were in the cafeteria rushed back to their class rooms to get ready for the lessons.
Jung Y/n and her best friends Kim Yoona and Lee Ji Eun, who were in the 9th grade at Incheon Middle School were also among these students who were walking back to their classes. Unlike other students, these three best friends were not in a hurry to return to their lessons at all. They were immersed in a talk where all three of them enjoyed very much and did not feel time passing until they reached the door of their classroom.
"Oh my dear god! We are already 10 minutes late" Yoona started to freak out when they finally checked the time after noticing that no one else was in the hallway other than the three of them.
"I don't think we have to worry much Na. It's Mr. Lee's period now.."
"And he doesn't even know the names or the number of students who takes his class" Ji Eun completed the sentence which y/n started making other two giggle.
"Well, just because he is ignorant, does NOT absolutely mean that we have to go late for his classes . Also now we will have to go inside in front of everyone and it is totally like begging for attention " Yoona said in a serious voice because she was still feeling guilty and anxious that they got late.
"Okay okay calm down Na. I will go in first and you all can come after me. We won't get late anymore alright?" Y/n said in a calm tone and two other friends nodded at her with a smile.
Even though y/n offered to go inside the classroom first, she was also nervous as hell but she had to calm down Yoona because she knew how the other starts tearing up when she gets anxious.
"Let us go inside now. I am pretty sure no one will look at us because they must be in their own worlds minding their own business while Mr. Lee is talking in front of the board" Ji Eun said with a light chuckle and gestured y/n to go inside first.
"Take the lead my brave bestie" she added making y/n smile and she slowly opened the door of the class room and stepped inside followed by the other two.
As soon as they opened the door, something that all three of them noticed was the silence. THE PIN DROP SILENCE in their classroom. It was NEVER like that. It was always chaotic during this class due to the earlier said reasons and this silence was so new to all three of them which made them to look at the person who was in front of the board.
"Oh my god"
Y/n heard Ji Eun's surprised whisper as the three best friends saw who was giving a presentation to their class.
