The atmosphere in the shareholder's meeting was as intense as ever. The room was filled with seasoned executives, board members, and prominent shareholders of Jeon Group, each with their eyes on the new project proposal laid out before them. Presentations were being discussed, projections were debated, and decisions were being made—all except by Jeongguk, who was seated at the head of the table.

He looked the part—suited up impeccably in his tailored black suit, sitting with a posture that demanded respect—but his mind was far from the discussions unfolding around him. His thoughts were a million miles away, wrapped up in none other than his wife, Y/N. It was as if the entire world had faded, and all that remained in his consciousness was her—the woman he had confessed his love to, and who had, to his immense joy, accepted his love in return.

Jeongguk's lips twitched into a soft smile, his gaze absent as he stared down at the papers in front of him without really seeing them. He was far too busy replaying last night's events in his mind. The memory of her delicate body beneath him, the way her lips had swollen from his kisses, the purple love bites he had marked on her flawless skin—each thought made his heart race and his chest swell with pride. Y/N, with her innocence wrecked under his touch, had looked so utterly perfect. The way she smiled at him, drenched in sweat, her eyes filled with nothing but love and adoration for him—it was a sight that would remain etched in his heart forever.

His fingers absentmindedly traced the edge of the proposal document as his thoughts drifted deeper. She was his. Completely, utterly his. No one else could see her like that, no one else could touch her in the way he did. It was a possessive, primal sense of pride that filled him—knowing she trusted and loved him that deeply. He wanted nothing more than to leave the boardroom at that very moment and rush back home to her, just to hold her in his arms again, to feel her warmth and kiss her soft lips.

A warm flush crept up Jeongguk's neck, and he could feel his face heating up as vivid images of Y/N crossed his mind. His smile grew wider, and he leaned back slightly in his chair, completely oblivious to the fact that several of the board members had paused, looking his way expectantly, waiting for him to weigh in on the matter being discussed.

It wasn't until Namjoon's voice cut through the fog of his thoughts that Jeongguk was snapped back to reality.

"Mr. Jeon, is everything alright?" Namjoon asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked at his younger brother curiously. "You haven't said anything about the amendments to the project sir. Do you think we need any changes?"

Jeongguk blinked, momentarily disoriented. He had no idea what Namjoon was talking about. The meeting had gone on without him, and he hadn't registered a single word. A quick glance around the table told him that all eyes were on him now, waiting for his input.

Clearing his throat, Jeongguk straightened in his chair and nodded, his usual composed demeanor returning as if he hadn't just been daydreaming about his wife. "I'll need to go over the project proposal again before making any decisions," he said smoothly, hoping that would buy him some time to actually read through the documents he had ignored during the meeting.

Namjoon gave him a slightly skeptical look but didn't press further. He nodded and continued with the meeting, allowing Jeongguk to remain quietly zoned out for the rest of the discussion.

Once the meeting finally concluded, Jeongguk let out a sigh of relief and retreated to the solitude of his office. He needed a moment to collect himself, to shake off the distracting thoughts of Y/N. But before he could settle in, Namjoon walked in, closing the door behind him.
