Jeongguk woke up with a heavy head, his body aching as though he had been run over by a truck. His throat felt dry, and his muscles screamed in protest as he tried to shift his position under the warmth of the comforter. Blinking slowly, he looked around the room, trying to recall how he had ended up in bed. The last thing he remembered was dragging himself home late last night after an exhausting day at the office. The memory was hazy, but he was certain he had collapsed onto the bed in his work clothes.

He slowly sat up, wincing at the discomfort, and noticed the damp towel resting on his forehead. His hand reached up to touch it, the coolness of the fabric offering some relief to his feverish skin. Confused, he glanced down at himself, his eyes widening in surprise. He was no longer in his stiff, uncomfortable office attire. Instead, he found himself in a soft white cotton t-shirt and a pair of comfortable lounge pants.

"How...?" Jeongguk muttered to himself, trying to piece together what had happened. He had no memory of changing clothes, no recollection of anything that could explain how he ended up like this. His thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on the door.

Before he could respond, the door creaked open, and Y/N stepped into the room, carrying a tray. Her eyes met his, and Jeongguk was taken aback by the concern that filled them. She walked over to him with a gentle urgency, placing the tray on the bedside table.

"You're awake," she said softly, her voice tinged with worry. "How are you feeling?"

Jeongguk blinked, still trying to process everything. "What...what are you doing here?"

Y/N gave him a small smile, though it didn't reach her eyes. "You've caught the flu, Jeongguk. You need to eat something and rest properly. I made some soup for you."

Jeongguk's gaze drifted to the tray. A bowl of steaming soup sat atop it, and though he couldn't deny the hunger gnawing at his stomach, his mind was still fixated on the fact that he was in different clothes. He looked back at Y/N, his brows furrowing in confusion. "How did I... how did I get changed?"

Y/N hesitated, biting her lower lip before she answered. "You were really uncomfortable in your office clothes. You were sweating, and I thought it would be better for you to rest in something more comfortable. So, I... I changed your clothes."

Jeongguk's eyes widened in shock. "You... you saw me naked?"

Y/N's cheeks turned a deep shade of red as she quickly shook her head, her hands flailing slightly in her attempt to explain. "No! No, I didn't look! I-I put on my eye mask before I did anything. I swear, Jeongguk, I didn't see a thing. I just... I wanted to make sure you were comfortable, so I changed your clothes without... without looking."

Jeongguk stared at her, his mind running wild with the implications, but the sight of Y/N's flustered expression and her honest explanation made something inside him soften. For the first time in what felt like weeks, a small chuckle escaped his lips, surprising both him and Y/N.

Her eyes widened slightly at the sound, and a faint smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Seeing Jeongguk smile, even if just for a moment, made her heart swell with a bittersweet joy. It had been so long since she had seen any emotion other than anger or indifference from him.

Y/N took a seat at the edge of the bed, her movements careful as she picked up the bowl of soup. "I know you don't like my cooking," she began, her voice soft but firm, "but you have to eat something if you want to get better. Please, Jeongguk, just eat this for now. Once you're better, you can eat whatever you want, but until then... don't be stubborn. Let me help you."

Jeongguk stared at her, a mix of emotions swirling inside him. He couldn't understand why she was being so kind to him, why she was caring for him when all he had done was push her away and make her life difficult. But as he looked into her eyes, filled with concern and a genuine desire to help, he found himself unable to argue.
