The next morning, Jeongguk stepped out of his house feeling lighter than he had in a long time. The sunrise painted the city in warm hues, a perfect reflection of the new beginning he felt in his heart. In his hand, he held a small lunch bag—one that his wife, Y/N, had packed for him. The sight of it made him smile, an uncontainable happiness spreading through him as he thought about her, about the night they'd shared, finally free from misunderstandings and painful silences.

As Jeongguk arrived at the office, his bright expression and relaxed posture immediately caught Namjoon's attention. From across the hall, Namjoon's eyes widened, taken aback by the stark contrast to the usual brooding Jeongguk he had grown accustomed to. Curious and hopeful, Namjoon made his way over to him, already sensing that something significant had changed.

"Morning, Jeongguk," Namjoon greeted, an eyebrow raised in playful suspicion. "You're in a... suspiciously good mood today. Should I be worried?"

Jeongguk chuckled, his face lighting up with an unrestrained grin. "Good morning, hyung! And no, you don't need to worry. Everything's better now. My wife came back, and we talked... about everything. We sorted out all the issues, cleared up every misunderstanding."

Namjoon's eyes sparkled, and he placed a hand on Jeongguk's shoulder, giving him a congratulatory squeeze. "That's incredible news! I'm happy for you both, truly." He looked over at the lunch bag in Jeongguk's hand, smirking knowingly. "I see she's already making sure you're well taken care of, huh?"

Jeongguk glanced down at the lunch bag, a bashful but proud smile spreading across his face. "Yeah, she packed lunch for me this morning. I didn't even ask her to. I think she just wanted to make sure I knew she's here for me. It's the little things, you know?"

Namjoon nodded, a soft smile on his face. "I'm glad to see you this way, little brother . You both deserve this happiness after everything you've been through."

Jeongguk's expression softened, and he looked down, his voice dropping to a quieter, more introspective tone. "There's something else too... something that changed everything hyung."

"Oh?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

Jeongguk took a deep breath, as if reliving the moment all over again. "Yesterday , we found out something I'd never expected. Remember how I told you about that girl who helped me when I got lost as a kid?"

Namjoon nodded, his interest piqued. "Of course. It was Ji Eun right? You told me about her a few times. I remember you always wanted to find her, to thank her for what she did."

Jeongguk nodded, a hint of wonder in his eyes. "Well... it was not Ji Eun who helped me hyung, it was Y/N. All this time, the girl who helped me was Y/N. I found out last night, and... I couldn't believe it. I'd been living with this misunderstanding for so long, thinking it was someone else. But it was her, all along."

Namjoon's mouth fell open in surprise. "Y/N was the girl who helped you?" he repeated, astonished. "That's... incredible. Like fate, almost."

Jeongguk smiled, nodding. "Yeah, it feels like fate. I spent so many years with these misunderstandings, assuming things that weren't true. But now... I know better. I've learned my lesson, and I'm never going to believe anything without fact-checking ever again. I won't let misunderstandings rule my life."

Namjoon clapped him on the shoulder, pride evident in his gaze. "That's a wise approach, Jeongguk. I'm glad you've come to that realization."

The two men stood in a comfortable silence for a moment, both of them absorbing the significance of this revelation. But then, Namjoon's face grew serious, his tone shifting to a more pressing matter. "So, now that things are good between you and Y/N... what are you going to do about Hyun?"
