Author's POV
Jungkook leaped from his bed and rushed to Ena's unconscious form sprawled on the floor. "Yah! Ena, wake up!" He scooped her into his arms and carefully laid her on his bed. Murmuring a frustrated curse under his breath, he debated whether to call a doctor. "Should I call a doctor?" he muttered to himself, dialing a number.
"Jimin, what should I do now?" he asked urgently.
"Jungkook, don't worry. She must be exhausted. Let her rest for a while. Are you human or what? How could you keep her on her feet for hours?" Jimin's voice was calm and reassuring.
"I'm not asking for advice. Just tell me what to do."
"Let her rest. It's midnight. She'll be fine by tomorrow. And you need to sleep too."
"Okay then, goodnight," Jungkook said before ending the call. He took slow steps back to the bed, his gaze falling on Ena's pale face. He sighed deeply, settling into his side of the bed and keeping a worried watch on her until sleep finally claimed him.

Jungkook's POV
The next morning, I made my way to the hospital and spoke with the attending physician.
"Mr. Jungkook, I've spoken with your mother. She's agreed to transfer Mr. Jeon to the United States for further treatment. As his guardian, we will comply with her wishes," the doctor informed me.
I remained silent for a moment, grappling with the weight of the news before finally asking, "Do you think he'll recover?"
"We hope for the best, of course. He's currently in a coma due to minimal blood flow to his brain. He will recover eventually, but it may take some time. You need to be patient," the doctor replied.
"Please proceed with all necessary preparations," I said, leaving the doctor's office.
Heading to Dad's private ward, I found Mrs. Jeon already there.
"Do you think it's better for Dad to go to the U.S. for treatment?" I inquired.
"Yes, it is. We'll leave tonight. I'll accompany him, and Jungwon will stay here with you," she responded. After a pregnant pause, she added, "What are you going to do about that brat? Do you have plans? She should be behind bars."
"I married her," I said bluntly.
"W-what?" Her shock was evident.
"You married her? Are you out of your fucking mind, Jungkook? You married a murderer."
"I'm 27 and capable of making my own decisions. I don't need your consent," I said coldly.
"I'll see Dad off tonight," I said firmly, then left the hospital for the office.

Ena's POV
I awoke to the sound of a knock on the door. A maid entered and, with a slight bow, invited me to breakfast. I nodded, still groggy.
"Did he let me sleep through the night?" I wondered aloud.
After my morning routine, I descended to the dining area and had breakfast alone. It was a stark contrast to the usual bustle of family meals.
I needed to attend university, so I gathered my things and headed for the main door. To my surprise, a guard blocked my way.
"You are not allowed to leave the mansion, miss," he said.
"Why? What's wrong? I have to go to university, and you've never stopped me before!" I protested.
"That's right, miss. But Mr. Jeon has given orders that his wife is not to leave the premises," he explained.
