Jungkook's POV:
It felt like my world had collapsed. Though I never expected much from this relationship, it shattered me-it tore my soul into pieces. I stood there, motionless, until Jimin approached me.
"Jungkook! Did...did you and Ena...did you and Ena have a physical relationship?" Jimin asked, struggling to find the right words. I stood silent, too broken to speak. Desperate to escape, I rushed to the office door. Jimin shouted after me and followed as I left. I jumped into my car, and Jimin took the passenger seat, refusing to leave me alone.
"GET OUT, JIMIN!" I growled.
"No! I won't," he insisted.
Annoyed, I slammed my foot on the gas, speeding recklessly.
"Jungkook! What the fuck! Slow down!" Jimin urged urgently.
The car finally screeched to a halt outside a bar. I stepped out, heading inside, with Jimin trailing behind. I drank heavily, but the pain didn't ease. My thoughts were consumed by Ena. How could she betray me like this? After our marriage, I hadn't been with another woman, and now she had a baby with that bastard!
"Enough, Jungkook!" Jimin spat.
"Why would she do this? Why?" I questioned, my voice slurred by alcohol.
Author's POV
Meanwhile, a girl approached Jimin and Jungkook, making seductive remarks. She grabbed Jungkook's collar and pulled him closer. Fueled by anger, Jungkook shoved her hard, causing her to stumble and fall to the ground, gasping in shock.
"Don't fucking touch me!" Jungkook yelled, his voice a fierce growl.
Jimin, panicked, rushed to help the woman up and apologized on Jungkook's behalf. He then turned to Jungkook, trying to de-escalate the situation. "That's enough, Jungkook. Come on, I'll drop you off at home. You need to rest," Jimin said, steadying him.
Jimin managed to get Jungkook to his mansion and helped him to his room. He took off Jungkook's shoes and made him comfortable in bed.
After several hours of restless sleep, Jungkook woke up with a throbbing headache, feeling more sober than before. His mind was overwhelmed with reflections on his past, his life choices, and his relationship with Ena. He replayed moments from their time together, the decisions he made, and how they had shaped his life.
Ena's life seemed to be a constant echo in his thoughts. He pondered her decisions and how they contrasted with his own. The betrayal stung deeply, leaving him grappling with questions about trust, loyalty, and the future of their relationship.

Ena prepared for her session of chemotherapy, she changed into hospital attire and was admitted to her ward. A nurse asked for Taehyung's consent, and after comforting Ena, he left the procedure room.
The doctor then placed the IV line, administered sedation, and prepared the site. After gaining arterial access, they performed angiography, delivered the chemotherapy drugs, and completed all the necessary procedural care. The entire process took three hours, during which Taehyung waited anxiously.
Once the procedure was finished, the doctors emerged from the room and explained the post-procedural care to Taehyung. They informed him that Ena needed to be observed for a few hours to ensure her vitals remained stable and that there were no complications.
Taehyung entered the room and saw Ena's pale face. His heart broke at the sight, knowing her suffering seemed unending.
He comforted her and helped her eat some toast and soup, as she had been fasting for several hours before the procedure. The doctors monitored her for another six hours before deciding to discharge her. Although the procedure typically required an overnight stay in the hospital, Ena couldn't stay away from home due to personal issues and relationship concerns with Jungkook, for which she had no explanation.
