Today is the day before we fly to Ireland for new years. Me, Arthur and Nelly left Amanda's house yesterday, (the day after Boxing Day) leaving Leah to spend some time with her family and to tell them that she's coming to Ireland with us for the next 10 days, which is something that I'm also about to tell my family.

Hi mum I'm good how are you

Good, excited to see you all tomorrow

Hahah yeah I can't wait

Oh I'm so excited

Yeah, about that I actually wanted to tell you something

Oh god, should I be worried

No no, it's nothing bad

Go on then

Well, you know Leah that I spent Christmas with

Yeah

Well, I kind of invited her to come with us

Ok

I just feel bad because she has her flight and everything booked and I haven't mentioned it to you until now

That's alright darling, you know your more than welcome to bring someone here always

Are you sure

Of course, I can't wait to meet her, finally put a face to the name

Thanks mum

Always darling, I'm even more excited now

Are Nelly and Arthur there

Yeah one second

I give Nelly and Arthur the phone to chat to my mum for a while. Once they're done I give them both a bath and get them ready for bed before they chill on the sofa to watch a film and I finish packing and make sure we have everything before joining them.

A couple of minutes later there's a knock at the door, and I open it to see the tall, blue eyed, blonde standing there with her suitcase.

"What are you doing here" I giggle

"I just though it would be easier if we all left together in the morning" she smiles and I stand aside to let her in

"Leah" Arthur and Nelly shout in unison when she walk into the living room and both of them jump up off of the sofa to engulf her in a hug

"You can't have missed me that much, I only saw you yesterday"

"I did" Arthur says as he tries to get impossibly closer to her

"Right come on guys I think it's time for bed we've got an early start" I tell them

"Can you take me" Arthur asks Leah as he still refuses to let go of her

"Yeah come on then"

Once we've got them both into bed, Leah and I decide that we should do the same. I lock up downstairs and make sure that everything is ready for the morning before making my way upstairs. We both change into our pyjamas, brush our teeth and gladly get into bed.

"You alright" she asks as I finally turn off the light and cuddle up to her

"Yeah, are you"

"Yeah, a bit nervous"
