A week has passes since my breakfast date with Alex and I'm currently sitting in the kitchen having a cup of tea and scrolling through Instagram when I get a text from Alex.

Just want to let you know that Nelly will be a mascot for the last game in the Arnold Clarke Cup.

My pleasure, I got you and Arthur tickets as well so Yous can be there to see her big moment, and I'll be commentating on that game as well, so I'll be on the side-line to watch her xx

I turn off my phone and walk into the living room to see Nelly and Arthur cuddles up asleep on the couch. I guess the surprise will have to wait until tomorrow. One by one I take them both up to their rooms and give them both a kiss goodnight before going to bed myself.

*Time Skip*

It's now the day of the Arnold Clarke Cup final and it's between Germany and England. Yet again I'm shouting upstairs to tell Nelly hurry up.

"Come on Nell we're gunna be late"

"I'm coming mummy" she says as she get half way down the stairs, dressed in her England kit that Alex brought over yesterday.

"Ok come on Arthur's already in the car" I say and we both walk out to the car after I lock the door.
Once we both have our seat belts on we set off on our 1 hour journey to the Milton Keynes stadium. For the first half of the journey Arthur and Nelly were very content in the back seat watching their iPads, but Nelly soon became restless and started making conversation.

"Mummy who do you think I'll get to walk out with" she asks from the back seat

"I don't know sweetheart, who do you hope you'll get" I ask her

"I don't know, maybe Leah Williamson or Lotte" she says smiling

"Who's your favourite player" I ask her

"Leah Williamson and Lotte" she says proudly and I chuckle

"How come" I ask her still laughing

"Because they play for arsenal" she says even prouder than the last statement

"But there's other arsenal players there"

"Yeah but Leah and Lotte are my favourite" she says smiling at me

"Who's your favourite mummy" she asks after a few seconds of silence

"I don't know darling, they're all nice" I say smiling

"Come on mummy you have to pick one" she pleads with me

"I don't know, maybe Leah Williamson" I say

"Is that cause she plays for arsenal" she asks proudly

"Yeah, and she's very pretty" I say smiling to myself

"Yeah, they're all pretty"

"Yeah they are sweetheart"

After about another 25 minute drive we finally make it to the stadium. We make our way to the gate and show our tickets that Alex gave us and Nelly shows her mascot pass. Alex told me that when we get our passes will allow us to get to where the commentary box is and she will meet us there and take Nelly to where she needs to be.
