After a few more shots, Izzy began to feel the effects of the alcohol creeping in. The initial burn had given way to a warm, fuzzy sensation that spread throughout her body, dulling her senses and easing her tension. She found herself laughing more freely at the jokes from the show playing, enjoying the sense of relaxation that washed over her.

Sophie watched Izzy closely, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction as her plan unfolded exactly as she had hoped. With each shot, Izzy became more and more susceptible to her influence, falling right into Sophie's trap without even realizing it. She subtly shifted closer to Izzy, her movements deliberate yet seemingly innocent. She brushed against Izzy's arm as she reached for the remote, her touch lingering longer than necessary. Izzy barely noticed, too preoccupied with the warmth spreading through her veins to pay much attention.

Sophie's gaze lingered on Izzy's face, her eyes darkening with an intensity that sent a shiver down Izzy's spine. She felt a sudden flush of heat rise to her cheeks, unsure of what to make of the sudden shift in atmosphere.

"Hey, Izzy," Sophie murmured, her voice low and husky. "You know, you're really beautiful." she brushed a strand of hair out of Izzy's face. "Honestly surprised they haven't drafted you to nationals with how good you are at soccer," she added, making sure to balance out with what she was saying.

Izzy blinked, caught off guard by the unexpected compliment. She wasn't used to receiving such direct praise. Yet, despite her surprise and uncertainty, she found herself strangely flattered.

"Th-thanks, Sophie," she stammered. "I'm glad you always make time to attend my games. No one has ever done that."

Sophie's touch lingered on Izzy's cheek, her thumb tracing a gentle path along her jawline. "Of course, Izzy," she murmured, her voice dripping with sincerity. "I wouldn't miss your games for the world. You're too talented to go unnoticed."

Izzy's heart fluttered at Sophie's words, the heat of her cheeks reaching her ears. She couldn't deny the rush of validation that surged through her at Sophie's praise, the sense of being seen and appreciated in a way she had always longed for.

As Sophie leaned in closer, her breath mingling with Izzy's, a thrill of anticipation shot through her.

Izzy's breath hitched when she felt light kisses along her cheek, Sophie's hand making her neck crane upward as her kisses reached by her ear.

"What–what are you doing?" Izzy muttered in confusion, the ceiling spinning as she tried pulling away from her, but Sophie made sure to keep her hold on her tight.

Sophie's lips curved into a smile as she leaned in closer, her eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. "What does it look like?" she whispered, her voice sending a shiver down Izzy's spine. Or was it the way Sophie was running her hand up and down her chest?

Izzy's confusion turned to alarm as Sophie's actions grew bolder, her heart racing with uncertainty. She tried to pull away, her instincts screaming at her to escape from Sophie's grasp, but Sophie's hold on her remained firm, trapping her in place.

"Stop." Izzy said louder, her voice trembling with fear and confusion, yelping when she felt a squeeze somewhere she didn't want to be touched.

"Just relax. I promise it'll feel good." the older woman chuckled darkly, her grip tightening. But just as she was moving lower, someone had pulled her away roughly from behind, causing her to tumble to the ground.

Izzy's gaze widened as she saw her sister Emilia standing there, her expression a mix of concern and anger. "What the hell is going on!?" Emilia demanded, her voice sharp as she glared at Sophie, who was now on the ground.

Izzy's relief was palpable as she realized her sister had intervened just in time to stop Sophie's advances. She quickly stepped away from Sophie, stumbling as she stood by the other end of the couch. Despite the alcohol, she felt sober in an instant.

Emilia wasted no time with her now former friend. She pulled Sophie up by her shirt, pushing her towards the door. "What the hell is wrong with you! I thought we were friends!" Her voice trailed off as she walked further away, more yelling crossing all the way to the living room.

It felt like forever when she came back, anger still evident on her face. Izzy didn't know what to do, so she stood there, looking down at her feet, a deep sense of unease and discomfort, knowing how close she had come to something she wasn't ready for.

"I-I don't know," she stammered, her voice trembling. "Sophie, she—she was..."

Emilia's expression softened slightly as she approached Izzy, concern etched into her features. "Are you okay?" she asked gently, reaching out to place a hand on Izzy's shoulder.

Izzy nodded, her throat feeling dry as she struggled to find her voice. "Yeah, I'm okay," she replied, though her voice wavered with uncertainty.

"Let's get you to bed," she said firmly, guiding Izzy towards the stairs.

As they made their way upstairs, Izzy couldn't shake the lingering feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of her stomach. "I'm sorry," the younger girl couldn't help but apologize.

Emilia frowned as she heard Izzy's apology, her heart aching for her sister's distress. "It's not your fault, Izzy," she reassured gently, squeezing her shoulder in a comforting gesture. "You didn't do anything wrong."

Izzy nodded, though the guilt still gnawed at her. She couldn't shake the feeling that she should have been more aware, more cautious. But as they reached the top of the stairs and Emilia led her to her room, a sense of relief washed over her. At least for now, she was safe.

"I'm the one who should be sorry," Emilia murmured as she tucked Izzy in, her presence offering some comfort. "If I had known Sophie was like that..." She sighed, shaking her head in frustration. "If I hadn't pushed you away, maybe this wouldn't have happened."

"Why'd you come back?" Izzy questioned, remembering that she was supposed to go do something for school.

"Forgot to bring some paperwork," Emilia informed. "But I'm glad I did." Her tone softened as she looked at Izzy with concern, the weight of the situation still evident in her eyes. "It can wait for another day, though. Try to get some rest," Emilia urged softly, brushing a stray lock of hair away from Izzy's forehead. "We can talk more about this tomorrow, okay?"

Izzy nodded, grateful for her sister. "Okay," she whispered, her eyes already heavy with exhaustion. As Emilia turned off the light and left the room, Izzy closed her eyes, hoping that sleep would offer some respite from the turmoil of the night.
