ship: katsuki bakugo + eijiro kirishima.

The sun was setting over U.A. High School, casting a warm, golden glow over the campus. The usual bustle of students was beginning to wind down as the end of the school day approached. Eijiro Kirishima and Katsuki Bakugo found themselves alone on the school rooftop, a place they had frequented for quiet conversations and moments of respite.

Kirishima leaned against the railing, gazing out at the horizon with a thoughtful expression. He was lost in the beauty of the sunset, a rare peaceful moment in his often hectic life. Bakugo, ever the force of nature, was pacing back and forth, his usual scowl softened by the tranquil setting.

"You've been really quiet today, 'Suki." Kirishima said, breaking the silence. "Everything okay?"

Bakugo stopped pacing, his gaze shifting to Kirishima. "Yeah, just... thinking about stuff," he replied gruffly. He rubbed the back of his neck, a gesture that betrayed his unease.

Kirishima pushed himself off the railing and walked over to Bakugo, a concerned look on his face. "Thinking about what?"

Bakugo hesitated, his usual bravado faltering. "Just... us. And how you put up with me."

Kirishima's brow furrowed in confusion. "Put up with you? What are you talking about?"

Bakugo's eyes met Kirishima's, and for the first time, Kirishima saw a vulnerability in him that he hadn't seen before. "You're too good for me, Kirishima," Bakugo said quietly, his voice almost a whisper. "You're always so positive and... and I'm just me. Loud, stubborn, and not exactly a good person."

Kirishima's heart ached at Bakugo's words. He reached out and gently placed a hand on Bakugo's cheek, his touch tender and reassuring. "Bakugo, that's not true. You're an amazing person. You've got a big heart, even if you don't always show it."

Bakugo's gaze dropped, and he pulled away slightly, clearly uncomfortable with the depth of the conversation. "You don't get it. I've got this... this darkness inside me. And you're always shining bright, like you're the sun or something."

Kirishima took a step closer, his eyes locked on Bakugo's. "I'm not the sun. I'm just me. And I'm here because I care about you. All of you. The loud, stubborn, and yes, even the dark parts. You don't have to hide anything from me."

Bakugo's eyes softened, a mixture of relief and uncertainty in them. "But... what if you get tired of me? Of all my bullshit?"

Kirishima's heart swelled with emotion. He took Bakugo's hands in his own, squeezing them gently. "I'm never going to get tired of you. I know you have your struggles, but I see who you really are. You're strong, and you fight for what you believe in. That's why I'm here."

Bakugo's resolve seemed to crack as he looked at Kirishima. "Why do you always have to be so damn perfect? It's not fair."

Kirishima chuckled softly, a warm smile spreading across his face. "I'm far from perfect, Bakugo. But I'm trying to be the best version of myself, just like you are. And I'm here because I believe in us."

Bakugo's defences seemed to crumble under Kirishima's unwavering support. He took a deep breath, his eyes searching Kirishima's face. "I don't know what I did to deserve you, but... I'm glad I have you."

Kirishima's smile widened, his eyes filled with affection. "You didn't have to do anything special. You just have to be yourself. And that's more than enough for me."

They stood there for a moment, the sunset painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. Kirishima reached up and cupped Bakugo's face, his thumb brushing away a stray tear that had formed in Bakugo's eye.

"Do you think we could..." Bakugo started, his voice trembling slightly. "Could we just... stay like this for a while?"

Kirishima nodded, his gaze tender. "Yeah, of course. We can stay like this as long as you need."

With that, Bakugo closed the distance between them, his lips capturing Kirishima's in a gentle, heartfelt kiss. It was a kiss filled with all the words left unsaid, all the feelings they had kept hidden. Kirishima responded with equal tenderness, wrapping his arms around Bakugo, holding him close.

As they finally broke the kiss, Bakugo looked into Kirishima's eyes, a mixture of gratitude and love in his own. "You really are something special, Kirishima."

Kirishima's smile was warm and genuine. "And so are you, Bakugo. We're both special in our own way. And together, we're even stronger."

They stood together, embracing the fading warmth of the sunset and the quiet, profound connection they shared. In that moment, they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. Their love, unwavering and true, was a beacon of light in the darkness, guiding them through whatever the future held.

And as the first stars began to twinkle in the evening sky, Bakugo and Kirishima knew that they had found something rare and beautiful in each other — something that's worth cherishing for the rest of their lives.
