ship: katsuki bakugo + eijiro kirishima.
Chapter 1: Kirishima's House
Eijiro Kirishima paced nervously in his bedroom, glancing occasionally at the clock. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, a mixture of excitement and anxiety washing over him. Today was the day he would introduce his boyfriend, Katsuki Bakugo, to his parents. They had been together for a few months now, but this felt like a significant step.
"Come on, Kirishima. You got this," he muttered to himself, trying to summon his usual confidence. Just then, his phone buzzed, and he saw a message from Bakugo.
Bakugo: On my way. Better not be any weird shit at your place.
Eijiro chuckled, shaking his head. Typical Bakugo. Always blunt and straightforward. He quickly typed a response.
Kirishima: No worries. My folks are cool. See you soon!
A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. Eijiro rushed to the door, his heart racing even faster. He opened it to find Bakugo standing there, looking as fierce as ever but with a hint of nervousness in his eyes.
"Hey, come on in," Eijiro said with a big smile, stepping aside to let Bakugo enter.
Bakugo nodded and walked in, looking around the cosy house. "So, where are they?"
"In the living room," Eijiro replied, leading the way. As they entered the room, his parents looked up and smiled warmly.
"Eijiro! And you must be Bakugo. Welcome!" Mrs. Kirishima said, standing up to greet them.
"Thanks for having me," Bakugo replied, his tone polite but firm.
Mr. Kirishima stood up as well, extending his hand. "Nice to meet you, Bakugo. Eijiro has told us a lot about you."
Bakugo shook his hand, his grip strong and confident. "All good things, I hope."
They all laughed, and the tension in the room eased a bit. They sat down, and Mrs. Kirishima brought out some snacks.
"So, Katsuki, tell us a bit about yourself. How did you and Eijiro meet?" she asked, her eyes full of curiosity.
Bakugo glanced at Eijiro, who gave him an encouraging nod. "We met at U.A. We're both in Class 1-A. Kirishima here saved my ass more times than I can count."
Eijiro blushed. "It's a team effort. Bakugo's amazing in combat."
Mr. Kirishima leaned forward, intrigued. "I've heard about your class's exploits. Must be quite an adventure."
"Yeah, it's been wild," Bakugo admitted, a rare soft smile appearing on his face.
The evening went smoothly, with stories shared and laughter echoing through the house. By the end of it, Bakugo felt more at ease and started acting more like his true self, realizing that Eijiro's parents were genuinely kind and accepting.
As they were leaving, Mrs. Kirishima pulled Eijiro aside and hugged him tightly. "He's a good one, Eijiro. You two take care of each other, okay?"
Eijiro nodded, his heart swelling with happiness. "Yeah, thanks, Mom."
Chapter 2: Bakugo's House
A week later, it was Eijiro's turn to meet Bakugo's parents. Eijiro was even more nervous this time. He knew how intense Bakugo's mother could be, but he was determined to make a good impression.
They arrived at Bakugo's house, and Bakugo took a deep breath before opening the door. "Old hag, Dad? We're here."
Mrs. Bakugo appeared, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized Eijiro. "So, you're Eijiro, huh? Heard a lot about you."
Eijiro swallowed hard and nodded. "Yes, ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Don't 'ma'am' me. Call me Mitsuki," she said, a small smirk on her face. "Come on in. Dinner's ready."
Mr. Bakugo greeted them with a nod, more reserved but friendly enough. As they sat down for dinner, the atmosphere was tense. Mitsuki was sharp-tongued, but Eijiro held his ground, answering her questions with respect and honesty.
"So, what do you see in my son?" Mitsuki asked bluntly, her eyes boring into him.
Eijiro glanced at Bakugo, who was glaring at his mother. "Mom, seriously?"
Eijiro took a deep breath. "I see someone who's strong, determined, and always striving to be the best. He inspires me to be better, to push past my limits. I see someone who cares deeply, even if he doesn't always show it. I see someone that I love."
Bakugo blushed slightly. There was a moment of silence, and then Mitsuki chuckled. "You've got guts, kid. I like that."
Bakugo's father nodded in approval. "You seem like a good match."
The rest of the evening went smoother, and by the end of it, Eijiro felt a sense of relief. As they were leaving, Mitsuki patted Bakugo on the back.
"You better take care of him, Katsuki. He seems like a nice kid, don't ruin it for yourself. I like him for you."
Bakugo nodded. "Yeah, Yeah, Whatever. I will."
As they walked back to the train station, Bakugo grabbed Eijiro's hand, squeezing it tightly. "You did great. They like you."
Eijiro grinned. "Yeah? I was so nervous."
Bakugo shrugged. "Told you it would be fine."
Hand in hand, they headed back, feeling closer than ever. Meeting each other's parents had been a significant step, and they had faced it together, just like they would face everything else in their lives.
Chapter 3: A New Episode
Months passed, and their relationship continued to grow. They faced challenges together, supported each other through their training, and found strength in their bond. Meeting each other's parents had only solidified their connection, showing them that they were ready to face the future together.
One evening, as they sat on the rooftop of the dorms, watching the sunset, Kirishima turned to Bakugo. "You know, I think our parents are right. We do make a good match."
Bakugo smirked, leaning in to kiss him gently. "Damn right we do."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, they knew that whatever came their way, they would face it together, stronger than ever.
