ship: katsuki bakugo + eijiro kirishima.

Eijiro Kirishima trudged back to the dorms after a long day of training, exhaustion seeping into his bones. He couldn't wait to collapse onto his bed and relax. As he approached his room, he noticed Bakugo's door slightly ajar, soft light spilling into the hallway. Curiosity piqued, he quietly pushed the door open and peeked inside.

There, sitting at his desk, was Katsuki Bakugo, deeply engrossed in a textbook. But something was different. Kirishima's breath caught in his throat as he realized what it was: Bakugo was wearing glasses. The rectangular frames sat perfectly on his nose, making his intense features look even sharper, more defined. Kirishima had never seen Bakugo wear glasses before, and the sight left him momentarily stunned.

"Oi, shitty hair, what are you staring at?" Bakugo's voice snapped him out of his daze.

Kirishima blinked, trying to gather his thoughts. "Uh, I didn't know you wore glasses."

Bakugo huffed, pushing the glasses up his nose. "Only when I'm studying. Contacts get annoying after a while."

Kirishima stepped into the room, unable to tear his eyes away. "You look... different. In a good way. Like, really good."

Bakugo raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Yeah? Didn't think you'd care about something like that."

Kirishima chuckled, feeling his cheeks warm. "Well, I do. You look so good, Katsuki."

Bakugo's smirk softened into a rare, genuine smile. "Idiot. Come here."

Kirishima crossed the room and sat on the edge of the desk, still marvelling at how the glasses changed Bakugo's appearance. He looked more sophisticated, but still every bit the fierce, determined person Kirishima adored.

"I never knew you could get more attractive," Kirishima murmured, reaching out to gently touch Bakugo's cheek.

Bakugo leaned into the touch, his eyes softening behind the lenses. "You're such a sap. But thanks."

Kirishima grinned. "Just speaking the truth. So, what are you studying?"

Bakugo sighed, glancing at the textbook. "Stupid chemistry. Got a test coming up."

"Need any help?" Kirishima offered.

Bakugo shook his head. "Nah, I got it. But you can stay if you want."

Kirishima's heart swelled at the invitation. "I'd like that."

He pulled up a chair next to Bakugo, content to simply be close to him. As Bakugo resumed studying, Kirishima found himself mesmerized by the way the light caught the edges of the glasses, how they framed Bakugo's intense, focused eyes. He could watch him like this forever.

The next few days, Kirishima couldn't get the image of Bakugo in glasses out of his mind. It became a delightful distraction, one that made him smile during training and even in class. He found himself looking forward to any moment he could catch Bakugo studying, just to see him wearing those glasses.

One evening, Kirishima found Bakugo in the common room, glasses perched on his nose as he read through notes. He couldn't help but stare, a goofy grin spreading across his face.

"What now?" Bakugo asked without looking up, a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Nothing, just enjoying the view," Kirishima replied, plopping down next to him.

Bakugo glanced at him over the rims of his glasses, an eyebrow raised. "You're ridiculous."

"Maybe. But you love it," Kirishima teased.

Bakugo rolled his eyes, but his smile betrayed him. "Yeah, yeah."

Kirishima leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Bakugo's cheek. "Seriously, you look incredible. I'm really glad I get to see this side of you."

Bakugo's cheeks tinged pink, and he adjusted his glasses nervously. "Whatever, just don't make a big deal out of it."

"Too late," Kirishima said with a laugh. "I'll just have to keep telling you how amazing you look until you believe it."

Bakugo shook his head, but the warmth in his eyes was undeniable. "You're such a dork."

"And you love that too," Kirishima countered, wrapping an arm around Bakugo's shoulders.

Bakugo didn't pull away. Instead, he leaned into the embrace, his head resting on Kirishima's shoulder. "Yeah, I do."

As time went on, Kirishima noticed Bakugo wearing his glasses more often. It was a small change, but one that made Kirishima's heart flutter every time. It wasn't just about the glasses; it was about seeing Bakugo in a new light, appreciating all the little things that made him who he was.

One night, as they lay in bed together, Kirishima found himself tracing the outline of Bakugo's glasses with his finger. "You know, I think these might be my favourite thing about you."

Bakugo snorted. "Seriously? Out of everything?"

Kirishima nodded, his eyes twinkling. "Yeah. They make you look even more incredible, and they remind me of how dedicated and smart you are. It's like seeing a different side of you."

Bakugo's expression softened, and he reached up to take Kirishima's hand. "You're such a sap, Ei."

"Maybe. But I mean every word," Kirishima replied, leaning in to kiss Bakugo softly.

As their lips met, Kirishima felt a sense of contentment wash over him. He loved everything about Bakugo, from his fiery temper to his fierce determination. But seeing him in glasses, seeing that side of him, made Kirishima fall even more in love.

Pulling back, Kirishima smiled. "You're amazing, Katsuki. Glasses or not."

Bakugo chuckled, pressing a kiss to Kirishima's forehead. "And you're an idiot. But you're my idiot."

Kirishima laughed, wrapping his arms around Bakugo. "Always."

As they settled into each other's arms, Kirishima knew that no matter what, he would always see the best in Bakugo. Through new eyes, through old ones, it didn't matter. What mattered was that they were together, and that was more than enough.

And as Bakugo's glasses lay on the nightstand, a silent testament to their bond, Kirishima couldn't help but feel grateful for every moment they shared. Because through every lens, every perspective, their love remained clear and unwavering.
