Pov..

After saying goodbye to J-Hope, Taehyung enters his room and finds Jungkook watching TV instead of sleeping. Surprised, Taehyung asks, What happened, Jungkook? I thought you were sleeping?

Jungkook, flipping through channels, responds, I was trying to sleep, but I couldn't. I've been sleeping since morning, so I thought I'd watch some TV, but I can't find anything interesting.

Taehyung shakes his head, lies down on the bed, and observes Jungkook, who is engrossed in changing the TV channels.

Out of nowhere, Taehyung wraps his arms around Jungkook's stomach, startling him.

Jungkook, caught off guard, asks, What's going on? Why are you hugging me? Taehyung's voice, muffled by his position, replies, Who said I was hugging you? I'm hugging my baby.

Jungkook rolls his eyes at this, a mix of amusement and slight annoyance showing on his face. He starts playing with Taehyung's hair absentmindedly.

After a moment, Jungkook breaks the silence, Taehyung. Taehyung, still resting his head on Jungkook's stomach, responds, Hmm?

Jungkook then asks, What do you want, a boy or a girl?Taehyung takes a moment before answering, Hmm, I think I want a girl.

Jungkook frowns slightly and questions, Why a girl? What's wrong with having a boy?" Taehyung smiles, Boys are usually mama's boys. I want a girl, daddy's little princess.

Jungkook, determined, insists, No, I want a boy. They go back and forth, with Taehyung saying, No, it should be a girl, a cute little girl who calls for papa all day.

Jungkook, now slightly irritated, retorts, No, it'll be a boy who calls for eomma.

Finally, Taehyung sighs and says, Okay, why are we even fighting about this? We'll find out in nine months. Jungkook nods in agreement, though his smile is tight, showing some lingering tension.

Taehyung then gets up from beside Jungkook and sits at the edge of the bed, picking up a book from the bedside table.

Jungkook watches him for a moment, feeling a mix of emotions, then turns his attention back to the TV, still flipping through channels.

He finally lands on a drama that catches his interest, and he begins to watch it to pass the time. The room is quiet except for the sound of the TV.

Suddenly, a kissing scene appears on the screen, and Jungkook's eyes widen. He gulps, his gaze flicking between the screen and Taehyung. The room feels hotter, and Jungkook becomes visibly flustered. When the scene escalates, with the main lead about to undress the heroine, Jungkook quickly turns off the TV, his face red.

Taehyung, noticing the sudden silence, looks up from his book, frowning. He sees the TV is off and glances at Jungkook, who is now drinking water, trying to compose himself.

Taehyung, noticing Jungkook's flushed face, asks, What happened, Jungkook? Why is your face so red? Jungkook, embarrassed, turns even redder, unable to meet Taehyung's eyes.

Concerned, Taehyung moves closer and places a hand on Jungkook's forehead, checking for a fever. You don't seem to have a fever, Jungkook, so why is your face so red? he asks, genuinely puzzled.

Jungkook doesn't respond immediately; his attention is completely captivated by Taehyung's lips, which are still moving as he talks.

The sight of Taehyung's lips makes Jungkook's heart race, and he can barely hear what Taehyung is saying. What's wrong, Jungkook? Say something, Taehyung urges, his tone gentle but concerned.

Realizing where Jungkook's focus is, Taehyung stops speaking, his gaze following Jungkook's. He notices that Jungkook's eyes are fixed on his lips, and Taehyung gulps slightly, feeling a sudden tension in the air.

Before Taehyung can process what's happening, Jungkook, driven by an impulse, blurts out, Kiss me, Taehyung.

Taehyung freezes, staring at Jungkook in shock and disbelief, trying to grasp the sudden shift in their dynamic.

Taehyung's eyes widen in surprise at Jungkook's sudden request.

The room feels charged with an unexpected tension. For a moment, neither of them moves, the silence filled with a mix of confusion and anticipation.

Taehyung searches Jungkook's face for any sign that he might be joking, but Jungkook's eyes are serious, albeit slightly nervous.Taehyung takes a deep breath, trying to steady himself.

He hadn't expected this turn of events. He leans in closer to Jungkook, their faces only inches apart. He can see the subtle rise and fall of Jungkook's chest, the rapidity of his breaths.

Taehyung hesitates, feeling a mix of uncertainty and something else he can't quite identify.

Jungkook, sensing Taehyung's hesitation, feels a pang of vulnerability. He looks down, breaking eye contact, and whispers, If you don't want to, it's okay. I just... I don't know why I said that. His voice trails off, laced with embarrassment.

But before Jungkook can pull away completely, Taehyung gently lifts his chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. Jungkook, Taehyung murmurs softly, his voice barely above a whisper. It's not that I don't want to. It's just... unexpected. He pauses, gathering his thoughts.

We've gone through so much, and our relationship is complicated.

Jungkook nods slightly, understanding the unspoken words.

Taehyung, still holding Jungkook's gaze, slowly leans in closer. He can feel Jungkook's breath on his lips, warm and slightly trembling. With a gentle touch, Taehyung closes the gap, pressing his lips softly against Jungkook's. The kiss is hesitant at first, both of them testing the waters, but then it deepens, a mix of emotions swirling between them. As they pull away, both are slightly breathless. Jungkook's cheeks are flushed, his eyes wide and searching. Taehyung looks back at him, his expression a mix of surprise and contemplation. Jungkook, Taehyung starts, his voice steady but soft, I don't know what this means for us, but I want you to know that I'm here for you. For our baby. And... maybe for more.Jungkook nods, a small smile.

As they sit close, the room quiets around them, leaving only the soft sound of their breathing.

Jungkook leans back a little, still feeling the warmth of Taehyung's kiss on his lips.

He looks into Taehyung's eyes, searching for any hint of regret or uncertainty, but all he sees is a calm determination.

Taehyung reaches out and takes Jungkook's hand, holding it gently. Are you okay? Taehyung asks, his voice soft but full of concern.

Jungkook nods, feeling a mixture of emotions—relief, embarrassment, and a growing sense of affection.

He squeezes Taehyung's hand, finding comfort in the simple touch.I didn't expect that, Jungkook admits, his voice barely above a whisper.

He looks down, a little embarrassed. But... I don't regret it.

Taehyung smiles gently, squeezing Jungkook's hand back. Me neither, he says. It's new, and a little scary, but... it feels right. He pauses, searching for the right words. I know we have a lot to figure out, especially with the baby coming, but I want us to try—to be more than just co-parents.

Jungkook looks up, surprised but hopeful. You mean... like a family?" he asks, a small smile forming on his lips. Taehyung nods, his eyes warm and sincere.Yes, a family, Taehyung replies. If you're okay with that. We can take it slow, figure things out together.

Jungkook's smile grows, and he feels a sense of relief washed over him. I'd like that, he says, feeling a newfound confidence. We can start fresh, as a family.

They sit together in comfortable silence, holding hands and feeling the weight of the moment. It feels like a new beginning for both of them, a chance to move forward and build something real. They both know it won't be easy, and there will be challenges ahead, but for now, they are content to take it one step at a time.

To be continued....

I'm really sorry I couldn't update on time. I've been very tired for the past two days and was also a bit busy. I wanted to write this chapter longer, but I couldn't. I promise I'll definitely update a long chapter next time. I hope you all will like it.
