Letter to Romeo Montague

Dear Romeo,

Romeo, Romeo. Your love with Rosaline is star-crossed. It was not meant to be, hence she does not love you as you love her. You and her were not meant to be, Romeo dearest. Romeo, whatever you do, do not attempt to confess feelings to her once more. Rosaline is a gorgeous girl, yes, but there is always another fish under the water that will soon catch your eye. Romeo, Romeo do not run after her. She may not return your love, but you will soon find someone else that is just as good, as beautiful as the woman you are currently thinking about. This next woman will be just as great as Rosaline. If she happens to be someone you know, great, that's even better. If you happen to not know her, get to know her, Romeo. Your love could soon enough go down into the history books. "Love is heavy and light, bright and dark, hot and cold, sick and healthy, asleep and awake—it's everything except what it is!" (Line 170).

Sincerely,

Lady Montague
