Letter to Hagrid

You sat at the desk in Severus's study, a quill in hand as you carefully penned a letter to Hagrid. The thought of your return to Hogwarts brought a mixture of emotions, but one thing was certain: you were determined to make this year memorable.

Severus entered the room, noticing you deep in thought as you wrote. "What are you doing?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.

You glanced up with a smile. "I'm writing to Hagrid to let him know I'm coming back and to remind him of our arrangement."

He raised an eyebrow. "And what arrangement is that?"

You grinned mischievously. "I told him I wanted to ride in a boat on my return. He promised to have one waiting for me."

Severus's expression was a mix of amusement and skepticism. "Why are you entitled to ride in a boat as a seventh-year?"

You shrugged playfully. "Because I never got to, of course. Everyone should be entitled to ride the boats at least once."

He shook his head, a faint smile on his lips. "Are you excited to go back?"

You paused, considering his question. "I suppose I am. But more than anything, I'm excited for mischief."

Severus chuckled, leaning against the doorframe. "Mischief? Should I be worried?"

You laughed softly, the sound filling the room. "Perhaps a little. But don't worry, Severus. I'll behave... mostly."

He crossed the room, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "Just remember to focus on your studies as well. Mischief has its place, but so does your education."

You nodded, appreciating his concern. "I know. I'll strike a balance. Promise, Daddy."

Severus leaned down, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Good. Now, finish your letter. We still have a few things to prepare before you leave."

You sealed the letter with the fox wax seal Severus had gotten you as a token of your hard work. The delicate imprint felt like a small victory, a symbol of your accomplishments and growth.

With a satisfied smile, you made your way to the back garden, where an owl patiently awaited your message. You handed the letter to the owl, who took off into the sky, carrying your words to Hagrid.

Returning inside, you couldn't resist a bit of playful mischief. Transforming into a sleek fox, you darted back into the living room and leaped onto Severus's lap, curling up comfortably.

He chuckled softly, recognizing your antics, and gently stroked your fur. In a swift, fluid motion, you transformed back into yourself, your legs stretched down over the sofa and your head resting in his lap.

Severus's fingers moved from your fur to your hair, softly stroking it with the same tenderness. "You know, you are quite the mischievous one," he murmured, his voice filled with affection.

You smiled up at him, feeling the warmth of his love envelop you. "I can't help it. It's part of my charm."

He leaned down, his lips brushing your forehead again. "And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you more than words can express."

You sighed contentedly, closing your eyes as his fingers continued to weave through your hair. "I love you too, Severus. Ex toto corde et anima." (With all my heart and soul)

Severus's eyes softened, his love for you clear in his gaze. "And I love you the same way," he replied, his voice equally tender.
