The next day arrives, and you and Lucius make your way to the meeting spot. It's a quiet, secluded area surrounded by tall trees, providing privacy for the conversation ahead. You feel a mixture of anxiety and determination as you wait for Severus to arrive.

Lucius stands by your side, his presence reassuring. "Remember, stay calm and composed. We need to confront him with the truth and make sure he understands the gravity of his actions."

You nod, taking a deep breath. "I know. I'm ready."

After a few minutes, you see Severus approaching. His expression is unreadable as he walks towards you, his eyes flicking between you and Lucius. "Violet, Lucius. What is this about?"

You step forward, your voice steady but filled with underlying anger. "Severus, we need to talk about what you did to me. The memories you erased, the way you manipulated me."

Severus's eyes widen slightly, but he quickly masks his reaction. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Lucius steps forward, his tone cold and authoritative. "Don't lie, Severus. We know the truth. You removed Violet's memories to control her, to shape her into what you wanted. And you erased your own memories to cover your tracks."

Severus's expression hardens, and he looks at you, his eyes dark with intensity. "Violet, whatever Lucius has told you—"

You cut him off, your voice firm. "Stop. I know the truth now. You took away my memories and your own to manipulate me. You made me believe I needed you, that you were my protector, but it was all part of your plan."

Severus takes a step back, a flash of something—regret, anger, fear—crossing his face. "I did what I thought was necessary to protect you."

Lucius scoffs. "Protect her? Or control her? You saw an opportunity to mold her into what you wanted, and you took it."

Severus's eyes flicker with anger. "You don't understand. She was in danger, and the only way to keep her safe was to—"

"To take away my agency?" you interrupt, your voice shaking with emotion. "To strip me of my memories so I would be more compliant, more dependent on you? That's not protection, Severus. That's control."

Severus's eyes flash with anger and desperation. "He is poisoning you against me, Violet. You had no agency; you were five years old and the daughter of a dark wizard who had just died. There were too many reasons to take your memories and let you move on with your life. It was never about control."

You stare at him, your mind racing as he continues.

"I wanted to take you on as my own, but I couldn't. I was single and virtually broke my first year at Hogwarts. There was no way I could have brought you with me. And did you really want to be Draco's older adopted sister? I weighed all of the options and ultimately we went with what your father wanted."

His words hit you hard, and you feel a mix of anger and sadness. "So, you thought it was better to erase everything? To make me forget everything and everyone I cared about?"

Severus looks pained. "I believed it was the best option to give you a chance at a normal life. Your father's plans were always about your safety, even if it didn't seem that way. You were in danger, Violet, and I couldn't protect you on my own. This was the only way to ensure you were safe from those who would seek to harm you because of your lineage."

Lucius steps forward, his eyes blazing. "I could have protected her, Severus. You had no right to make that decision alone."

Severus's expression hardens. "And what would you have done, Lucius? Taken her in as a pawn in your power games? Let her be raised alongside Draco, constantly under your influence?"
