The next morning, you and Severus cling to each other, the intimacy of the night lingering between you like a warm, protective cocoon. You both move slowly, not wanting to break the spell of closeness you've woven through the night.

As the early light filters through the window, you turn to Severus, a small smile playing on your lips. "I packed some toiletries for you," you say softly. "Just in case you didn't want to look like a ragged 'been fucked all night' mess when you go back to the castle."

Severus chuckles softly, the sound rumbling in his chest. "Always thinking ahead, aren't you?"

You lead him to the bathroom, the warmth of the room a stark contrast to the chilly morning air. The bath is already drawn, steam rising gently from the water. You help Severus undress, your fingers lingering on his skin, savoring the feel of him.

Once you're both in the bath, the water envelops you in its comforting embrace. Severus pulls you close, his arms wrapping around you as you settle against his chest. The silence is filled with a sense of contentment, each of you savoring the rare moment of peace.

In your mind, you're already counting the seconds until he has to go back to the castle, the inevitability of your separation looming over you. But for now, you push those thoughts away, focusing on the present moment.

Severus runs his fingers through your hair, his touch gentle and soothing. "I wish we could stay like this forever," he murmurs, his voice filled with longing.

You look up at him, your eyes serious. "Severus, I want the baby. I'm ready now. I feel it inside me, telling me that now is the time."

He pauses, his fingers stilling in your hair. "Violet, our world is very volatile right now," he says, his voice cautious. "Bringing a child into this chaos..."

You nod, understanding his concerns. "I know. It's dangerous and uncertain. But something inside me is telling me it's now or never. I feel it so strongly, Severus. I need to do this."

He looks deeply into your eyes, searching for any hesitation. "Are you sure? This is a huge step, and once we start, there's no going back."

"I'm sure," you whisper, your voice firm. "I've thought about it a lot, and I know it's what I want. What we both need. Do you not want the baby at all now?"

Severus sighs, his eyes filled with a mixture of love and worry. "I do want the baby, Violet. More than anything. But I'm concerned about your father. The fact that he's making you stay at the estate and the influence he has over you... it's dangerous."

You nod, understanding his concern. "I know my father is a powerful and intimidating presence, but I can handle him. We can handle him. We've faced so much already, Severus. We can do this."

He cups your face in his hands, his touch gentle yet firm. "I trust you, Violet. But we need to be careful. We can't let him control our lives, especially with a child involved. We need to find a way to protect our family."

You lean into his touch, feeling the warmth and love radiating from him. "We will. We'll find a way to keep our family safe. I promise."

Severus's brow furrows slightly. "What will you have to give up in exchange, Violet? Your father doesn't give anything for nothing."

You sigh, feeling the weight of his question. "I'm not sure. But when he was reborn in the cemetery, he asked if I was ready for my gift yet. I believed he was speaking about making our child come to fruition."

Severus looks at you, his concern deepening. "We need to be cautious. Your father's gifts always come with a price. Are you prepared for what he might demand in return?"
