The next morning, you're nestled comfortably in Severus' bed, the warmth of his body beside you. The peace of the moment is interrupted by a knock at the door.

Severus quickly throws on his robe and tells you to cover up. You pull the blanket up to your chin, ensuring you're concealed before he opens the door.

Standing in the doorway is Karkaroff, his expression tense. "I was looking for Y/N," he says, his voice edged with concern. "I cannot find one of my students."

Your heart skips a beat, but you manage to keep your expression neutral. You focus, feeling the familiar pull of time manipulation. The world around you halts, everything frozen in place. You slip out of bed and grab your robe, loosely tying it around you. The fabric does little to hide your form, your nipples poking through the thin material.

You return to your position behind Severus and release your grip on time, letting it flow naturally once more. Both men look at you, puzzled by your sudden appearance.

"What student?" you ask, your voice steady.

"Viktor Krum," Karkaroff replies, his worry evident.

You nod, feigning nonchalance. "Give me three minutes to get dressed. I'll go check the dormitory to see if he was snuck in."

Karkaroff looks relieved, and Severus glances at you with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. You quickly gather your clothes and disappear into the bathroom, your mind racing as you dress. When you emerge, fully clothed and ready, you head out to investigate, the weight of your actions lingering in the air.

As you walk through the castle, you focus on keeping your composure. You make your way to the dormitory and knock softly on the door. When there's no response, you carefully open it and step inside. The room is empty, and there's no sign of Viktor Krum.

Continuing your search, you make your way to the grounds, the cold air biting at your skin. You finally spot a carriage in the distance and approach it cautiously. Inside, you find Viktor Krum and Hermione Granger, both looking hung over and disoriented.

"Viktor, Hermione," you call softly, stepping into the carriage. "Are you both alright?"

Hermione rubs her temples, her expression confused. "I don't know how we got here. I feel dizzy but I'm okay."

Krum looks equally perplexed. "We hid here last night after the dance," he says, but his words don't sit right with you.

The snow on the ground and the biting cold make you skeptical of their story. Hermione isn't even wearing a jacket, and it seems impossible that they could have been out here all night without freezing.

"We need to get you both to Dumbledore," you say firmly. "Come on."

You help them out of the carriage and guide them back to the castle. When you arrive at Dumbledore's office, Karkaroff and Severus are already there, their faces etched with concern.

"I found them in a carriage outside," you explain. "They look hung over but there's more to it."

Dumbledore's eyes narrow as he turns to Krum. "What happened?"

Krum repeats his story. "We were drinking after the ball and fell asleep in the carriage."

Hermione shakes her head, still looking dazed. "No, I went to my room. I don't remember being in the carriage."

"May I offer a theory?" you interject, your voice calm but firm.

Karkaroff glares at you. "Viktor already recounted his story and his date seems not to remember. I hope you aren't insinuating something."
