You wake up on Christmas Eve morning, the soft light of dawn filtering through the curtains. The previous night with Adrian had been magical, but sleeping with him for the first time was a little different.
It took some adjusting to how each other liked to sleep. You shift slightly and realize that you're precariously close to the edge of the bed, while Adrian is sprawled out, hogging most of the space.
You giggle softly, nudging him. "Adrian, I think you've claimed the entire bed."
He stirs, blinking sleepily. "What?" He looks around, then laughs. "I guess I did. Sorry about that."
You smile, snuggling closer to him. "It's okay. I just need to figure out how to reclaim my territory."
He wraps an arm around you, pulling you closer. "I'm not opposed to sharing," he says with a grin. "You can have as much space as you want."
You chuckle, enjoying the playful banter. "It's a good thing I like you, Adrian, or this bed-hogging might have been a deal-breaker."
He kisses the top of your head. "I'll try to be more considerate tonight. Promise."
You both lay there for a moment, enjoying the warmth and comfort of each other's presence. It's a cute and tender scene, one that makes you feel closer to him.
"You know," you say, tracing circles on his chest, "this is different, but in a good way. I like waking up next to you."
He smiles, his eyes soft with affection. "I like waking up next to you too, Violet. It feels... right."
You nod, feeling a sense of contentment wash over you. "So, what's the plan for today?"
He grins, a twinkle in his eye. "First, we need to feed Mary and Barry. I bought them some vegetables; they're in the fridge. Then, we should shower, and you can try to keep your hands off me." He winks playfully. "After that, we should get dressed and go out. I want to stop by a shop for some toiletries you can keep here, things that would make you feel more comfortable. And we need to pick up some more food. I don't keep that much here lately since it's just been me. How does that sound so far? A good plan?"
You smile, feeling touched by his thoughtfulness. "That sounds perfect, Adrian. Thank you for thinking of everything."
He kisses your forehead gently. "Anything for you, Violet."
You both get up, and Adrian helps you feed Mary and Barry, who are excited to see you and nibble on the fresh vegetables. After ensuring they're settled, you head to the shower.
The warm water cascades over you both, and despite Adrian's playful warning, you can't resist the urge to run your hands over his wet skin. He chuckles, returning the favor, and the shower becomes a delightful mix of teasing and intimacy.
Once you're clean and refreshed, you get dressed. Adrian suggests some cozy winter outfits, and you both decide on warm, comfortable clothes for the day ahead.
As you leave the apartment, hand in hand, the crisp winter air invigorates you. The city is alive with festive decorations and the cheerful hustle of people preparing for Christmas.
Your first stop is a quaint shop where Adrian helps you pick out toiletries and other essentials to keep at his place. You feel a warm sense of belonging as you choose items together.
Next, you head to a local market to pick up groceries. The vendors greet you with friendly smiles, and you enjoy the process of selecting fresh produce and ingredients for your meals.
Throughout the morning, Adrian's attentiveness and care make you feel cherished. His genuine interest in your comfort and happiness only brings you closer.
