Jaime has finally convinced me to leave the house for the first time since I temporarily moved in with him. I want it known that I did not want to leave the house today. It's an unusually chilly day out today, the wind picking up more speed by the hour. It seemed like a perfect day to stay inside, but Jaime kept bothering to go get the vitamins my doctor prescribed me. No amount of begging would make him cave and go get them for me, so that's how I find myself in the pharmacy on this cold, windy day.

I'm heading down the aisle with all the lotions and hair care products when I hear a familiar voice call out to me. I turn and see Anna, Tony's failed attempt at a mistress, walking down the aisle towards me.

"Alia! It is so good to see you!" she gushes at me as if we're friends who are lucky enough to run into one another and not like she's the woman who kissed my husband.

I glance around to see if there's any escape available, yet to my demise there's nothing. It's just us two alone in the toilet paper aisle, there's no one to call in for backup.

My lack of response to her doesn't seem to faze her because she keeps on talking to me like we're pals who are getting the lucky chance of running into one another at the pharmacy.

"I heard you were in Texas! How was that?"

I give her an unamused look. "It was so great to be in a different state than my husband and family for months, thanks."

She cocks her head to the side. "Tony did join you, though. He was there for, what, a month, maybe?"

"Yeah, something like that." I say dryly. Why the fuck is she keeping track of how long my husband was gone for anyway?

"I was worried him being gone was going to prolong the album."

"Yeah, I bet you were worried."

"Well, yes, I was. Tony's been working so hard on the album, I didn't want it to be ruined or anything because of personal problems."

I can't help but laugh at this. It's one thing to come over to me and talk to me as if we're friends, but to stand there and say an album might be pushed because of "personal" problems? That is some straight up crazy bullshit, especially coming from the problem itself.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I ask her once I stop laughing.

Anna sighs and puts a hand on her hip as she looks at me as if I'm a rebellious teenager who she has the unfortunate duty of parenting.

"I thought you would be more mature than this." she starts. "Just because things happened with Tony doesn't mean it has to affect our friendship."

My eyebrows shoot up so high it's a wonder they're still on my face.

"You thought that kissing my husband would have no effect on our friendship?!" I ask incredulously. "Seriously?"

"Just because he's married doesn't mean he has to stop enjoying the things he used to before you came along. The same goes for you. Marriage isn't the end of your love life."

I stare at her, my mouth agape. Marriage isn't the end of your love life? Marriage is the love life, what the fuck. I can't believe out of everyone Tony could've kissed, he chose this highly deluded woman.

"Stay the fuck away from my husband." I warn.

"Oh, like how you're doing?" she retorts.

"I'm going to need you to fuck the hell off." I say, my voice dripping with venom.

"Does Tony know that you're always so rude and violent?" she asks.

Now this brings a smile to my lips. "Call him and ask."
