Zeo: I thought if I went to the gym that I'd find you

Masamune: great so now that you've found me, fill me in, for starters you can tell me why you never told coach which hospital you moved Toby too

Zeo: because toby specially asked me not to tell him that's why

Masamune: huh? You mean that he's that sick?

Zeo: No, he's gotten a lot better, he says he wants to wait till he's completely healed and then he's going to surprise everyone

Masmaune: Huh!, don't freak me out like that!

Zeo: but your a special case Masamune, so how about a thank you, I thought you would want to know so I came here especially to tell you where he is

Masamune: sheesh what's the big deal, but ok thanks

Zeo: Toby was really happy to hear about us

Masamune: huh?

Zeo: he said it would be a tough call to make, deciding which one of us he should route for, if you and I face off in the final battle

He sets up cans

Zeo: I bet, Toby always got first place by a country mile, next was Masmaune back then I still wasn't able to catch up too you two

Masamune: when I heard you actually made it on the US team I gotta say I was surprised

Zeo: that's just because you weren't able to judge me properly, I knew all along that Zeo abyss was a blader that would one day stand at the top of the beyblade world

Zeo: I don't think it was all spirit, a lot of it is about this bey

Yu: that spin tracks so tall

Madoka: that is an awfully specialised bey for sure

Masamune: are you sure you can actually battle with a bey like that

Zeo: since you're here Masamune how about battling my flame Byxis to celebrate our reunion

Masamune: right on! That's a great idea

Masamune: Go now striker!

Striker hits byxis over and over again but it's not doing anything

Masamune: what's going on here?

Kuro: it's pretty clear, striker is only hitting the spin track not the fusion wheel so it can't deal as much damage

Madoka: He's right, striker's spin track is 12.5 mm tall by byxis's spin track is 23 mm tall

Kenta: 23 mm

Yu: that means it's almost twice as tall as striker

Hikaru: I don't think I've ever seen a bey that tall

Madoka: that's because you haven't, this is the tallest spin track in all of beyblade history, which means Kuro was right, no matter how many times striker attack it won't hit the place where it will take the most damage, byxis's fusion wheel

Kenta: but if it keeps getting attacked striker should take damage

Byxis's spin track can take almost any attack that comes his way

Masamune then starts laughing

Masamune: hahaha that's good very good Zeo

Kenta: what's wrong with him

Yu: He's lost it

Kuro: No he hasn't, he's just excited

Masamune: Bingo Kuro! I'm also happy that Zeo has become this strong this quickly, Zeo today I recognise you as a great rival you have really earned it my dear old friend

Zeo: I just didn't have a good enough bey before and you know it, don't act like your better than me,

Masamune: man this has gotten really amusing, my strike of yours will tear that bey of yours into itty bitty pieces

Masmaune commands striker to rush right in and at the last second jumps right into the fusion wheel sending byxis flying

Striker keeps on attack by jumping and hitting over and over again

Masamune: finish it striker!

Striker hits one more time and byxis recovers

Zeo then talks about his time in HD academy, it's basically a survival of the fittest

Zeo: but I stuck it out and made it too the end, through all of it

Masamune: for Toby's sake

Zeo: Masamune you made a promise to Toby but I promised Toby as well that I would work as hard as I could for him that I would become the number 1 blader

Masamune: good for you, but I haven't given up on becoming number 1, the one who will become the best in the world will be me!

Striker rushes in and so does byxis

They both call out their special moves but then dodge each other and return to their bladers

Masamune: it would be a waste

Zeo: you bet, my thoughts exactly

Masamune: if it's going to be a battle between you and me, Toby should get too sae it don't you agree

Zeo: Yes! Let's show him what we can do on the ultimate stage ok, Toby deserves that from us

Masamune: until then we put aside this competition

Zeo: I'll see you at the final battle then

Masamune: Zeo, Excalibur is tough, tough to beat

Zeo just smirks

Gingka: I can't believe you said Zeo doesn't seem like the kind of person that could make the US team, he's really really good

Madoka: it would Neko if you update the information you have on your friends
