Third person's pov!

Shiva was waiting in a cafe. Yesterday morning, Hansika had told him that she wanted to speak to him. But she needed a day's time.

And here he was, waiting for her to come as per her instructions.

He took another sip of his coffee and that's when he saw Hansika walking in. A small smile made its way to his lips, which died as soon as he saw the man coming behind Hansika.

His face darkened seeing the man.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Shiva growled at Hansika. She couldn't meet his eyes.

She took a seat across from him and asked the other man also to be seated.

Shiva stood up from his chair furiously and was about to walk out, but Hansika held his hand and looked at him helplessly.

"Please. I just need a few minutes." Hansika pleaded and with an exasperated sigh, Shiva took his seat again, not before throwing a hateful look at the other man. He wasn't meeting Shiva's eyes either.

The silence that followed was unbearable.

"What do you have to say, Hansika?" Shiva asked angrily, the silence suffocating him.

"Shiva. This is Arun Krishna. He is a small-time actor.." Hansika said softly and Shiva frowned.

"I don't care about his profession or anything.." Shiva bit out angrily.

"You have to listen patiently to what I am going to say, Shiva. Please don't react immediately." Hansika said in a pleading tone and Shiva frowned at her.

Arun's presence was making him very much uncomfortable. The thought that Vaiga had chosen this man over him. It was hurting like hell. He wanted to punch him and kick him like he did that day. His blood boiled in anger.

"Come out with it, Hansika. Don't test my patience.." Shiva said furiously.

"Your mother hired Arun for an act.." Hansika said and Shiva frowned, not understanding what Hansika was saying..

"I don't understand.."

"That day.. It was all a set up. Vaiga was framed." Hansika said and Shiva stopped breathing for a moment.

"What did you just say?" Shiva asked, his heart hammering against his chest crazily.

"Vaiga didn't cheat on you, Shiva. Your Amma drugged her and made her unconscious. She framed her in a way that you would walk in and find her with another man." Hansika said and Shiva felt his heart breaking all over again..

"Amma.. Amma won't.." Shiva stammered without much conviction. He knows that his mother hated Vaiga. But to think that she had gone to such an extent to get Vaiga out of his life..

"She wanted you to marry me. She hated Vaiga. She wanted to get Vaiga out of your life. She played you and you fell right into her palms.." Hansika said gently and Shiva clutched his hair in frustration.

"No... no.. This is not true.." Shiva mumbled.

"It is.." It was Arun who spoke.

Hearing his voice, Shiva leaned across the table and took hold of his collars angrily.

"How dare you?" Shiva screamed, earning the attention of some other customers too.

Arun pried Shiva's hands off his shirt and looked at him.
