Third person's pov!

Vaiga was well into her seventh month now. She had what you can call a very easy pregnancy. She didn't even have morning sickness. Once in a while, she gets this dizzy spell, that's it. Nothing more than that.

It was a Sunday evening. Vaiga and Abhay had their heads huddled together as they browsed through the shopping site for babies.

"Nothing seems good. I told you we can go to some shops and buy them." Vaiga cribbed.

"Come on, there is no emergency, right. She has a cupboard full of clothes." Abhay said, rolling his eyes.

"Are you blind? She is outgrowing her clothes at record speed." Vaiga tells him in disbelief and Abhay scoffed at her exaggerated dialogue.

As they were absorbed in their shopping debate, the sound of tiny feet pattering on the floor echoed through the room. Kriti, now sixteen months old and full of energy, had learned to run. She dashed around the house, her giggles filling the air with joy.

Kriti had recently discovered the joy of exploring, and her curiosity often led to mischievous antics. This morning was no different. She spotted her mother's phone on the edge of the coffee table and, with her newfound speed, made a beeline for it.

"Kriti, no!" Vaiga called out, her voice tinged with both amusement and concern. But Kriti was quick, and within seconds, she had the phone in her tiny hands.

Abhay watched with a mix of amusement and mild panic as Kriti began pressing keys on the screen lock.

"Little troublemaker," he muttered, getting up to retrieve the phone. But before he could take a step, Kriti was off again, her eyes gleaming with delight at her new game.

Vaiga tried to get up, but the weight of her belly slowed her movements.

"Dev ji, get her! She is going to break something!" She exclaimed, half-laughing, half-worried.

Kriti, sensing the chase, giggled louder and darted into the kitchen. Vaiga's heart skipped a beat when she saw Kriti heading straight for the open cupboard under the sink, where they stored cleaning supplies.

"Dev ji!" Vaiga's voice was sharp now, filled with real panic. Abhay's eyes widened, and he sprinted after Kriti.

"Stay there, Vaiga. Don't run.." Abhay called out in between. Just as Kriti was about to reach for a bottle of cleaner, he scooped her up into his arms.

"Gotcha!" He said, relief washing over him.

Kriti squealed with delight, thinking it was all part of the game. Abhay, his heart still racing, turned to Vaiga.

"See? No harm done. We just need to be a bit more vigilant," he said, trying to calm her.

Vaiga exhaled, her hand on her chest.

"You scared me, Kriti," she said softly, looking at Kriti, who was now trying to grab Abhay's nose. Abhay chuckled and kissed Kriti's forehead.

"You're a handful, aren't you? I wonder how the next one is going to be. We are going to be fully cornered, Vaiga." He said, looking at Vaiga and Vaiga laughed.

"Where is Siddhu and Drishti? She was with them, right? How did she come here without them seeing?" Vaiga asked in confusion.

Then they heard the bickering sound and saw Siddhu and Drishti fighting over something.

"No wonder." Abhay muttered under his breath and set Kriti on the floor and switched on the television and played some cartoons for her. It would keep her engaged for sometime.

"Let's check out some other sites too." Vaiga said as they settled on the couch again. She was browsing through the baby dresses when she noticed the multiple notifications coming in whatsapp.

"What is this? So many notifications? It's so annoying." Vaiga said and clicked on the notification so that she can go to the whatsapp group and mute it. But her eyes widened in horror seeing the videos that had come in the group.

"God!" Abhay groaned seeing it.

"What is this?" Vaiga asked in disbelief.

"It's our college boys' group, Vaiga." Abhay said cheekily.

"Not some pervert's association? A group full of porn videos?" Vaiga asked in disbelief as she scrolled through the group chat.

Abhay snatched the phone from her and locked it. Vaiga glared at him.

"What?"

"Do you watch all that?" Vaiga asked, her eyes narrowing at him.

"D'oh! All men do.." Abhay said with a sheepish smile.

"You still watch all this. Oh god! You are a father, Dev ji. Not a college boy anymore." Vaiga said, still trying hard to believe.

"Come on! I am not a po*n addict. I used to watch sometimes. And it's been a while now. Well, not since Kriti was born." Abhay said with a casual shrug of his shoulders.

"Don't watch it anymore.." Vaiga hissed at him.

"Huh?"

"Why do you have to watch some random girls getting naked?" Vaiga asked furiously and Abhay shot a seductive smile at her.

"You are right. Why do I have to watch, when I can get my wife naked and watch, and even touch and taste." Abhay said huskily as he leaned in to press a seductive kiss on her cheek. Vaiga blushed and slightly pushed him away.

Abhay laughed and looked up and his laugh died in his throat, seeing Siddhu and Drishti gaping at him.

"What?" He barked at them.

"Kya kya dialogue maara aapne, Abhi bhai? And now.." Drishti said, shaking her head in a dramatic way.

"What do you mean?" Abhay asked in confusion.

"I don't want to marry again. I can't fall in love again. And what did you do? Just three months into marriage and you knocked her up." Drishti said and Abhay flushed in embarrassment. Vaiga simply wanted to vanish.

"Drishti. Small mouth and big talks. It is not a good habit." Abhay said in a warning tone. In his mind, Siddhu and Drishti were just kids. Drishti and Siddhu laughed out loudly.

"Small mouth? Seriously bhai? The girl you knocked up is younger than us. Did you forget?" Drishti asked cheekily.

"What are you doing here? It's a Sunday, right? Shouldn't you spend the day with Shravan?" Abhay asked, trying to change the embarrassing topic.

"Don't take his name." Drishti said furiously.

"Fought with him again?" Abhay asked in exasperation.

"Again? What do you mean by again? Am I always fighting with him?" Drishti asked, glaring at Abhay.

"D'oh.."

"It's a Sunday and he has gone for some bloody meeting. How dare he? He can very well stay in his penthouse alone for one week. I am staying here." Drishti said and they saw her disconnecting an incoming call furiously. Probably poor Shravan!
