Specially dedicated to @Archanap21
. She posted like 40+ comments in the last chapter to meet the target.@AlishaParwez did the same for the previous chapter too.
(No idea why the mentions aren't working for your profiles🙈)
lakshmi_priyanka_ also did that for many chapters.
It is really unfair that a few readers take such efforts to meet the target while the others get to read for free🥺 So, here's an offer for those who comments regularly on my book (I clearly know who they are.) I will give 2 bonus chapters exclusively for them through emails. I will attach my email address at the end of this chapter. You guys can mail me to it. Make sure to mention your wattpad user ID in the mail, so that I can recognise you guys. Once the book is completed, I will send you two bonus chapters through the mail. This offer is exclusive for those few readers who have regularly commented on the book from the beginning. A token of my gratitude. I am not mentioning all the profiles, but I know who all they are...
Now, this chapter is pretty long, 2.5k words.. So the target is also higher.
Target : 550 votes ; 200 comments!
Third person's pov!
The small auditorium in Thanjavur buzzed with the soft murmur of preparations as Abhay meticulously oversaw the arrangements for Vaiga's Valaikappu, a traditional baby shower ceremony.
The venue was elegantly decorated, reflecting the warmth and tradition of the occasion. Marigold garlands draped the entrance, and the fragrance of jasmine filled the air. A simple yet beautiful stage was set up with a floral backdrop, ready to welcome the mom-to-be.
Abhay walked around, ensuring every detail was perfect. His eyes scanned the decorations, the seating arrangements, and the refreshments, double-checking everything with a sense of responsibility and care. This day was important, not just for Vaiga but for him as well. He wanted it to be flawless.
"Abhay, why don't you go and get changed? I will take care of the rest," Raghuswamy called out from across the room. He approached Abhay with a gentle smile, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"Appa, I will manage," Abhay replied with a warm smile, his tone respectful yet firm. He wasn't ready to step back just yet; he wanted to see everything through to the end.
"This is supposed to be a function arranged by the girl's family, not the son-in-law." Raghuswamy chuckled softly.
"But I am your son too," Abhay pointed out, his smile growing wider, filled with the affection and respect he held for his father-in-law.
"That you are," Raghu agreed, his eyes twinkling. "But Ammu is my only daughter, and it's my right to arrange all this. Don't snatch that from me."
Abhay hesitated, but the serious tone in Raghuswamy's voice finally made him relent.
"Okay. Siddhu, Mithran, and Shravan are here. Call them if you need any help. Don't do it all yourself. Almost everything is done anyway," he said, his eyes sweeping over the final touches once more, ensuring it was just right.
"I know, son. Now go, get ready. This function isn't just for Vaiga, but also for you," Raghu insisted, his tone fatherly yet firm.
"Alright, I am leaving," Abhay finally conceded, giving one last glance around. "Call me if needed, Appa."
With a nod, he turned to leave and headed towards Vaiga's house, a sense of anticipation building within him. As he approached their home, the familiar sound of chatter and laughter greeted him.
