Five Years Later!
The warm sun cast a golden glow over the private pool villa at a resort in Chennai. The gentle lapping of water and the laughter of children filled the air, creating a perfect backdrop for a family weekend staycation.
Vaiga sat on the edge of the pool, her legs dipped in the cool water. Her pregnant belly, round and full, was a gentle reminder of the new life growing inside her. She watched with a contented smile as Abhay and the kids played in the water. Kriti, now six and a half, and Vidyut, five, were having the time of their lives.
"Look, Momma!" Kriti called out, splashing water with her feet while floating on an inflated swim ring.
"Careful, my babies!" Vaiga replied, laughing as Vidyut tried to mimic his sister's antics.
Abhay, ever the doting father, was in the water with them, ensuring their safety while joining in their fun.
"Who wants to race to Momma?" He asked, grinning as both kids raised their hands eagerly.
"Me, me!" Vidyut shouted, paddling his little arms as fast as he could.
"Me too!" Kriti added, kicking her legs enthusiastically.
Abhay helped them float towards Vaiga, who leaned a bit down to meet them.
"How are my little swimmers?" She asked, kissing Kriti's and Vidyut's wet cheeks.
"Baby, are you having fun in there?" Kriti asked, her face close to Vaiga's belly. "We are going to swim a lot when you come out!"
Vidyut placed his small hand on Vaiga's tummy, his eyes wide with wonder.
"Baby, I'll teach you to swim like Dada does!" He promised.
Vaiga's heart melted at their innocent words. She caressed their heads, feeling grateful for the beautiful family she had.
"Momma, when the baby comes, will we still be able to have fun like this?" Kriti asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
"Of course, darling," Vaiga reassured her. "We'll have even more fun with another little one to join us."
"I can't wait to teach the baby all the cool things I know!" Vidyut's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"You better not teach the baby any of your mischief, young man." Abhay chuckled, ruffling Vidyut's hair.
"I want to teach the baby everything." Vidyut argued.
Vaiga laughed, feeling the baby kick inside her.
"I think the baby agrees with his big brother." Vaiga said and Vidyut stuck out his tongue and made a face at his dada, making Abhay glare at him.

After a long swim session, the kids were exhausted and soon fell asleep, snuggled up in the cosy villa. Vaiga and Abhay lay on the bed, cuddling together.
"I can't believe he didn't tell me earlier. How can he hide it for five years?" Abhay asked, still finding it difficult to believe.
Siddhu had broached the topic of Shreya to the family yesterday. Abhay was shocked. He never imagined that.
"They weren't in a relationship for five years, Dev ji. They loved each other, but only confessed to each other recently. And once he was in a position to propose marriage, he informed the family. Unlike some people who eloped and married," Vaiga said cheekily, and Abhay groaned.
