Third person's pov!
As Abhay watched Vaiga's beautiful performance, a profound sense of admiration and pride swelled within him. Her grace and elegance on stage were mesmerising, each movement a testament to her dedication and passion. He felt his heart filling with love and awe at the sight of his wife captivating the entire audience.
Once the dance performance was over, the auditorium erupted into a huge applause.
As the curtains came down, Abhay turned around and quickly walked towards the green room area after asking Laya for directions.
As he walked through the corridor searching for Vaiga, he heard some noises coming from a classroom. When he listened carefully, he recognised Vaiga's voice.
He pushed the door open and froze seeing Shiva almost hugging Vaiga.
His blood boiled at the sight of it.
Vaiga's heart clenched in fear seeing Abhay and she pushed Shiva away. She was scared how Abhay would react. She feared that he would suspect her. Her fear shone through her eyes and seeing it, Abhay tried to compose his anger.
Meanwhile, Shiva was smirking, believing that the sight he just witnessed would make Abhay realise that Vaiga is still his for taking.
"Mr Agnohotri, you should have knocked rather than simply walking in on us.." Shiva said in a suggestive tone and Vaiga looked at him in horror, her eyes filling up with tears.
Abhay laughed out loud, shocking both Shiva and Vaiga.
"Abhay Dev Agnihotri. That's my name. To doubt my wife, just because I found her with a random man in a room, my name is not Shivram Iyer." Abhay said coldly and all blood drained from Shiva's face.
Vaiga felt like she could breathe again now. She was so scared. No matter how much she told herself that Abhay would never distrust her, deep down, that fear had lingered. Until this moment.
Abhay walked towards her and cupped her face.
"Are you alright, Vaiga?" Abhay asked tenderly and Vaiga nodded her head, her heart swelling with love for this man standing in front of her.
She hugged him tightly, as though her whole life depended on it.
"It's okay. I am here.." Abhay said gently, as he patted her. He could feel her raised heartbeat against his heart."Do you want to talk to him?" Abhay asked gently and Vaiga nodded.
"I will wait for you outside, okay? Come out once you have got it all off your chest.." Abhay said and with a tender kiss on top of her head, he walked out. On the way, he shot a look at Shiva that screamed murder.
Once Abhay was gone, Vaiga turned to Shiva, her eyes spitting fire.
"Those words Dev ji now said. Those were the words I expected to hear from you that day, Shiva." Vaiga said and Shiva flinched.
"Vaiga..."
Vaiga's hand moved swiftly before she could stop herself, the sharp crack of the slap echoing through the room as her palm connected with Shiva's cheek, leaving a stunned silence in its wake.
"Don't ever take my name.." Vaiga told him coldly.
"What did you say before Dev ji came? That I should come with you to create a family? That I should have a baby with you?" Vaiga asked sarcastically.
"For what? So that all the toxicity and emotional drama could kill that child like it killed my child once?" Vaiga asked ferociously and Shiva sucked in a sharp breath hearing her words. He stared at her in horror and Vaiga let out a humourless chuckle seeing the look on his face.
